Every February I attempt to read a book every single day and I honestly thought I was going to completely fail this month but then in the last few days of the month I had a sudden burning need to binge read a bunch of romance books on my Kindle and then before I knew it, I’d reached 28 in 28 by the last day of the month!
Hey everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! It’s somehow the end of January and we’re a full month into the year???? So it’s wrap up time! This month was absolutely wild, I was sick for 3/4 of it and just overall, an absolutely wild and completely unexpected month for me, to be honest. I truly though I was getting into another reading slump this month but then I discovered monster romances and now I’m a whole-ass new human!

Ahh yes, it’s that time of year again. Where we say farewell to a probably shit year and frantically welcome in a new year that we hope will be much better than the last. Welcome to or welcome back to my blog; today I’m quickly going through everything I read in the month of December 2022. Ah, November… you happened ugh.All I remember about you is that I binged (and loved) Ted Lasso, I saw Glass Onion twice in cinemas and Disenchanted came out and I didn’t love it, unfortunately. November started out really strongly with a 24 hour reading binge and then my continued obsession with the Discworld series!

September was a bit of a bleh month but, I did read some fun books here and there that I really enjoyed and surprisingly I read a few ebooks which definitely made me feel more accomplished! I didn’t read a crazy amount of books this month but I still feel like 8 books is a good amount! I also got really stuck into my book club’s Discord this month and we’ve decided that starting in November we’re going to start a Riordanverse Readalong, reading one Rick Riordan book in how larger Percy Jackson universe per month until we’re up to date. August fel t like both the longest month of my life and also the shortest so I kind of can’t believe it’s over now and that we’re going into September! In August I got stuck into Uni work and I got a new job as well as doing a few week-long reading challenges. So, it was a bit hectic, but because I’m me, I still felt like the most unproductive person on the planet 🤦♀️.

I’ve been experimenting with week-long reading experiments on my blog and I also co-hosted round 6 of the Graphicsathon this month AND I caught covid from my family, so it was a very hectic month with some great highs and major lows. But, all in all, I think it was a really good month and I read some new and old favourites! I’m officially so excited for August to see if I can keep this positive streak going!
