Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’ve been really loving posting my wrap ups this year and back in May I posted a quick snapshot of everything I read in the first four months which I really like being able to look back on. So, I figured I’d do the same thing here for May, June, July and August!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! June was a weird month from start to finish. I started the month on a really strong reading high, literally fiinishing my first book by 9am on June 1st and then I was going really well reading on the bus to uni every day. But, then exam week hit me full-force and my reading came to an immediate halt basically until Graphicsathon started. However, I still think I read some great books this month and I absolutely read some new favourites during Graphicsathon which I’m proud of!
Also, even if I hadn’t read a single thing this month, I still co-hosted a readathon which makes me so proud!
So, I’m going into July with a really positive outlook and a lot of motivation, here’s hoping my wrap up is just as positive!

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’ve had a very intense reading year so far, with January and February being full-steam ahead and then reading hardly anything in the months after. So, now we’re almost halfway through the year and I’m wrapping up May! For May I was in a relaly comfortable reading mood where I was pretty much reading every day and I was enjoying the majority of what I read which is such a wonderful change from my recent wrap ups! Not only did I read 21 books but I also read three 5 star reads which is so exciting and I’ve now read 6 this year!

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m posting a quick summary for the first four months of the year and showing you everythign I watched in those four months! I used to do these back in 2019 but didn’t continue them into 2020 because I was a bit too overwhelmed. But, I had a spare moment today so I figured why not! I hope you all enjoy this and maybe find a new movie to watch!
Let me know in the comments what you’ve been watching lately!

Hi friends welcome back to my blog! So far 2021 has been a good year reading-wise so I’ve been making a lot of progress with my monthly graphs, so I figured why not show you all? Yeah… that’s right, today we’re talkin’ stats!
You can find my January wrap up here. I always go through all of the books I read throughout the month, as well as the tv and movies I watched.Continue reading “January Statistics Wrap Up! ⇀ 2020 Stats ❤”
Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming to you with my (rather long) January wrap up! I’ve decided that this year I want to do my wrap ups differently and that they’ll be spread across 3 different blog posts… is that too excessive?
I’ll still have my usual cohesive wrap up, which is what you’re reading now, where I’ll review everything I read and everything I watched (which this month wasn’t much). And then I’ll have a monthly blog post reviewing the books and movies for my monthly challenge I’m doing with Rebecca. On top of that, I’m also going to start doing a monthly wrap up featuring my reading statistics for the month. This will feature graphs from my StoryGraph profile as well as from my reading spread sheets over on Notion. So, I hope you will all find them interesting since I’ve really enjoyed thinking abou them and diving deeper into my reading this month!
As for my quick summary of how January went for me, it was realllly long! I did a ridiculous amount of reading, far surpassing a book a day and often reading 2 or 3 per day. I also participated in the third round of the Graphicsathon so I got 7 graphics read during the mini-round! I started back at work, ran a readathon, house sat for some family friends and got super stuck into the Fast and Furious franchise. All in all, I’d say it was a success!Continue reading “JANUARY WRAP UP ⇀ I read 44 books in 31 days! 💕📚🙈”
So… November. I had such high hopes but then I ended up working 3 jobs all at once and life sort of overtook my hobbies and so I went from reading everyday in the first few days on the month to sperativally reading a few pages in my lunch breaks and effectlively falling inato a reading slump. So disappointing but the school year ends ina few days so I’ll go back to only having one job which will be a huge relief and will give me some more free time!
On the other hand, this month I also made plans to watch a movie every day which was a bit difficult with me working 8-5 for a lot of the month but I somehow managed to do it, with a lot of short films and catching up with full-length feature films on the weekend.
Yeah… so October. I didn’t do a whole lot other than the Graphicsathon and Uni work so naturally, my tbr got thrown out the window and I ended up not really getting any blog-related stuff done. I have higher hopes for November though!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my August wrap up! This month started off really strong and I read some new favourites that I absolutely loved but I also had a fair bit of assessment towards the end of the month so my reading and watching really tapered off towards the backend of the month.
Overall, August was a good month, if not a little bit stessful towards the end, so now I’m really excited to see what I read or watch in September!
Also, for anyone curious, I host the GraphicsAThon with Destiny and round 2 will be taking place October 11-19th so you can look forward to an announcement for that soon!Continue reading “AUGUST WRAP UP // Reading Old and New Favourites!”
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog!
Ooh wow, what to say? It’s been a very long month for me, full of uni work and not much else! I didn’t read much this month and I didn’t watch a lot either! So, you’d think I would’ve been blogging like crazy but sadly I barely posted anything at all, it seems all of my creative energy went out the window in July. I am starting to get my mojo back now though, so I have hope for August and I have officially started planning round 2 of the readathon that I co-host with Destiny! The official dates are October 11 – 19th in your time zone! (@GraphicsAthon)
↣ If you have any thoughts on what you want to see in a readathon, I’d appreciate your input here!
I’ve had a very up and down month in terms of ratings and whether I actually enjoyed what I was reading but, a plus to that is I found a new favourite 5 star read and I already can’t wait to re-read it in the future!! I also, weirdly read mostly blue-green books this month which was wild because one day, I was literally dressed head to toe in blue, next to a stack of blue books while eating a blue cake that I had made (in fairness, I was reading Percy Jackson at the time) and I think that’s honestly very weird but also low-key hilarious. It was unintentional, I swear!
Insomnia Update: I spent the majority of the month going to sleep around 3 in the morning and then waking up a few hours later for class around 8am once Uni started. BUT, thankfully I am now taking Melatonin so I’m starting to get back on track with a sleep schedule and I’m now going to sleep around midnight each night and it’s amazing! I’m still completely exhausted but I do have a lot of sleep to catch up to be fair! 😂💕Continue reading “JULY WRAP UP // Going Back to Uni & Slowing Down 📚🥱🎬”
