Before I start I have to say this is my all-time favourite book tag. (Also, I’m not trying to offend anyone or start a war – I hate that I have to say that.)

01 A popular book or series you didn’t like.

Oh my god, there are soo many. (Again, I’m sorry.)

Multiple Books: The Mortal Instruments, Shatter Me trilogy

   

Standalones: Wild Awake by Hilary T. Smith and 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad (they call it a horror, ha!). I also didn’t like Fangirl or Carry On by Rainbow Rowell.

02 A popular book or series that everyone else seems to hate but you love.

I wasn’t really sure about this one but, These Broken Stars. I don’t know I just really loved this trilogy.

03 A love triangle where the main character ended up with the person you did not want them to end up with or an OTP that you don’t like.

An OTP that I don’t like – Warner x Juliette

I hated these two together, but I also didn’t like her with Adam. I really thought Juliette should have been with herself at the end of the trilogy.

04 A popular book genre that you hardly reach for.

Dystopia, mystery/crime and New Adult.

05 A popular or beloved character that you do not like.

06 A popular author that you can’t seem to get into.

Just off the top of my head I thought of these authors:

Rainbow Rowell, Cassandra Clare, John Green and Tahereh Mafi.

07 A popular book trope that you’re tired of seeing. (Examples “lost princess”, corrupt ruler, love triangles, etc.)

Manic Pixie Dream Girl.

08 A popular series that you have no interest in reading.

  

Anything new by Cassandra Clare, The Lord of the Rings, Vampire Academy series and the Captive Prince trilogy.

09 The saying goes “the book is always better than the movie”, but what movie or TV show adaptation do you prefer more than the book?

  

The Maze Runner movie & the Shadowhunters TV show.

I think the majority of people prefer The Maze Runner movies and this may be very controversial but I really love the Shadowhunters show, probably because it differs a bit from the books.
