In January I read a riduclous amount of books so guess who’s trying to make lightining strike twice! 😂🙈 I have to go back to Uni in March so I’m trying to fit in as much reading as I can before I am forced to really slow down and focus on other things. I will be going back to working two jobs this month so I have literally no idea how reading a book every day will go for me but I’m hoping I can catch up on the weekends.
January is more about getting to know what kind of a reader and blogger and in general, human I want to be in 2021. So, I’m mostly planning on getting my blog schedule sorted and reading as much as I can, since last month I tried to watch a movie every day. I have a few buddy reads planned for this month but apart from that I’m really hoping to just relax, listen to a bunch of audiobooks and play animal crossing.
I haven’t added the comics, maga of graphic novels on my tbr to this post because I’ll have a seperate blog post for those. But, I thought I’d mention here that a mini round of Graphicsathon is happening again from the 16th of January to the 19th in your time zone!

Long time no see! I know I said I was going to get back into blogging and at the time I was telling thr truth but then a whole lot happened all at once and (again) I’ve been working 3 jobs and really haven’t had time to think let alone write a blog post. But, I finish up 2 of my jobs within the next week so I’ll have a bunch of time to get back to a normal life schedule sooner than later! Trust me, no one is more excited about the school holidays then I am (did I mention I’m a teacher?).
As for my actual plans for the month, I don’t have many because I prefer to wind down at the end of the year. But, I would like to continue watching Criminal Minds and My Hero Academia and possibly maybe read some books????
I’m not aiming to read a book a day because I already know that’s an irresponsible and impossible goal for me this month but I do want to try my hardest to read as much as I can since I haven’t read a whole lot in the last few months, so I’ll be reading some comics and manga (hopefully) and catching up on some of the books I missed out on earlier this year.Continue reading “DECEMBER TBR // finally taking time off and getting back to reading!”
It’s officially November! We only have 2 more months left in 2020 which kind of baffles me because I feel like 2020 has been 3x longer than it should have been! So, since we only have two months left in the year, I figured I’d make a quick list of the top 20 books I’d like to read before the end of the year, and fun fact I’ve already read one of these!Continue reading “THE TOP 20 BOOKS I WANT TO READ BY THE END OF 2020”
Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! It’s been a while since I’ve been properly blogging but I’m officially back in the groove now that uni is over for the year and I’m fully prepared to start writing full blog posts again, starting with my tbr for the month!
So, I don’t think I read a single thing from my tbr last month because I ended up only having a few days out of the month to actually read but this month I have a bunch of books and comics out from the library that I’m super excited to get to asap!
This month I will also be trying to watch a movie every day, if you want to see what movies I’ll be watching!Continue reading “NOVEMBER TBR // Too Ambitious???”
It’s that time of year folks! Uni is just about finished for the term (until I go back at the end of the month…) so you know what that means! It’s time to read as much as humanly possible in the short time frame made available to me by the Higher Education Overlords!
And if you have no idea what I’m talking about – Destiny, Rebecca and I have brought back the GraphicsAthon for a second round and to say that I’m excited would be an understatement! I tried to really branch out with some of my tbr choices for this round, but in doing so I may have doomed myself because I officially have 36 reads in my tbr stack sitting on my desk… whoops?
You can find my announcement post for the readathon here, and you can follow the official Twitter for the readathon here.Continue reading “My GraphicsAthon tbr 💕📚✨💬 | 35 books… 9 days… I’m fine. It’s fine.”
August was a suprisingly good month for me reading-wise and I read a few new favourites so I’m hoping to continue that trend this month! I have a few buddy reads and a few 2020 releases on my tbr + I’ll be house sitting for some friends again this month so I’ve got my fingers and my toes crossed that I’ll be able to get a decent amount of reading done while I’m there!Continue reading “MY SEPTEMBER TBR”
Okay, so June is going to be a mess. I both want to focus on relaxing since school *just* finished for the trimester. I am literally submitting my last assignment as we speak! But, I also want to make an effort to use this time to read and catch up on movies, so I’m sure this means I’ll burn out and do neither of those things! 😂
This month my main goal is just to continue and potentially finish my re-read of the Harry Potter series since I’ve *finally* finished school and have that time back! But, because I’ll be reading those on my Kindle and making notes and highlights, I figure I’ll need some audiobooks to tide me over too, so I’m hoping to continue reading the Shadowhunters books because I’m still pretty behind! I usually have a much more extensive tbr but this month, for me is really more about finishing up with the harry potter series and trying to figure out if it’s worth going back to uni next month or not!
That being said, I do have a few buddy reads planned for this month and I am challenging myself again to read 100 pages every day, so who knows what will happen with my reading this month! 🤷♀️
Me: this month my tbr is gonna be small, I’m going to relax!
Also me: *puts 11 books on my tbr*
Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with the Stay Home tag for the Reading Rush readathon as well as my tbr for the readathon!
The Reading Rush goes from the 16th to the 19th, you time
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m bringing you my March tbr! It’s a bit ambitious, because Uni has just started up again for me, and because I had such a good reading month in February that I’m hoping will continue on to this month! I won’t have the same amount of time to read as I did last month but I will still have a fair bit of travel time to and from school each week, so in theory, I should be able to knock out plenty of these books, just on the bus! 🤞🤞🤞
I am also hoping to get back into the habit of reading series this year like I was at the end of last year, so I think that is mostly why there are so many books on my tbr, but hopefully, I’ll get through them quickly!
