graphicsathon round 9 ✨adventure✨ announcement + my tbr!

Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Over the last couple of weeks, myself and the rest of my Graphicsathon co-hosts have been planning the latest Graphicsathon round! Can you believe we’re now 9 rounds in??? We’ve been really enjoying having a theme for our last few rounds, so we’re sticking with that again, and this time our theme is ✨ ADVENTURE ✨ So, all of our prompts revolve around our theme, and so does our buddy read!

We’ll be doing reading sprints every weekend (every Sunday PDT 5pm / every Saturday AEST 10am) over on Twitter, and reading sprints are open at any time over on our Discord! We also have a buddy read + this round. We’re also trying out something brand new for the readathon and doing a buddy watch! We’re going to have an absolute blast reading together this month, and I can’t wait to see which fantastic graphics you all pick up!

Also, fun fact, we finally made an Instagram, so we’ll be posting every single day during the readathon (yes, I’m serious, 30 days, 30 posts), which means a lot of recommendations!

Somehow we’re in round 8 now and since we loved having a theme last time, we’ve decided to stick with that idea this time around too and we’ve dubbed this one the ‘comfort round!’. So, for the first week of March, we’ll be surrounding ourselves with our favourite graphics and reading as many as we can!

Follow our Twitter here & join the graphicsathon Discord here! We’ll be doing reading sprints throughout the readathon and we also have a buddy read and prompts so it’s going to be a lot of fun and I know we’re going to have some great discussions. Graphicsathon Round 6 Announcement (dates, prompts + my tbr)

Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog if you’re new! I’ve been co-hosting the Graphicsathon since 2020 and we’re officially up to round 6 now! Last round we read for an entire month but we’re officially past the halfway mark of the year now so we thought we’d make it short and sweet with one week of catching up on our goodreads goals and getting to the graphics we told ourselves we’d read in the first half of the year!

So, what counts as a graphic?

Anything with images! Comics, graphics novels, manga, picture books. If it uses pictures/images as a main storytelling device, it counts!

✨ Graphicsathon round 5 announcement! ✨ | my tbr + recommendations πŸ’•

Hi everyone. welcome or welcome back to my blog if you’re new! I’ve been co-hosting the Graphicsathon for a few years now with some of my blogging friends and it’s finally that time of year again! We’re back for round 5 and this round we’re switching things up! Last year we ended the year with a cramathon weekend where we tried to read whatever was left on our tbr for the year. And to kick off 2022 and keep ourselves accountable we’re reading a graphic every day of February, 28 in total!

Our main goal for the readathon is to read a graphic every day but we recognise that everyone’s day looks different and that 28 is a big number so we’re still counting it as a big win if everyone reads every day, even if it’s just a page of your current graphic! We still want this to be a laid back readathon, this is just a fun challenge so don’t pressure yourselves to read 28 if that isn’t an attainable goal for you! It can be 28 graphics read in 28 days or you could modify the goal to reading for 28 days (not necessarily finishing 28 things. It’s up to you and I can’t wait to see all your tbrs and wrap ups! πŸ’•

FEBRUARY WRAP UP! | #GraphicsReadathon

wrapupfeature1

Hi everyone! So, February is officially over, or it will be in a few hours! What a month, am I right??

I’ve officially started uni for the year and it’s already way too stressful also the weather has been nuts this month and apparently, wild weather sets my anxiety off like nobody’s business, who knew! I also started up work again this month and honestly, it’s been completely chaotic and I already can’t wait for school holidays so I can take a break from those kids because I just do not have that level of energy.

In terms of reading, this is probably the best month I’ve had in a really long time and I’m not gonna lie, it felt amazing! I was reading practically every day and it shows! In January I had a lot of screen time but February was 100% a reading month and I’m honestly super proud of everything I read because I found some new favourites and a lof other books I read also gave me some fun ideas for future content!
