Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! It’s Wednesday so I think we all know what that means… it’s time for another reading update! I’ve actually been reading really consistently this past week and I’ve been *finally* really enjoying what I’ve been reading so I decided to really talk more about the books I’ve been reading lately rather than just giving a short summary of my thoughts! #1 The Duke and I
- Problematic for literally no reason and definitely worse than the show’s first season.
- I really really love the writing for this series and I loved getting to know the charcaters but overall, no matter how much I enjoyed this book I will never re-read it because it’s tainted by the rape scene, and by default I can never view Daphne (or Simon because he was not blameless in her lack of knowledge of understanding) in the same way again.
