Bridgerton Season 2 (2022) Spoiler Review + Season 3 Predictions & Hopes!

Hello everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! A few days ago I rewatched and reviewed season 1 of Bridgerton and today I’m reviewing season 2! I’ll be honest, this is one of my favourite books in the series that I’m always down to re-read so I had high hopes for this season!

Just a heads up that there will be spoilers in this review and I do talk about future plotlines and relationships from the books!

As always the Bridgertons together were my favourite part of this entire season and I can’t wait for season 3! This is a really long post with an episode by episode mini-review + my thoughts while watching and then at the end, I tacked on my overall thoughts and season 3 predictions. Grab a drink and a snack because we could be here for a hot minute!

Bridgerton Season 1 (2020) Spoiler Review

Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Bridgerton season 2 just released on Netflix a few days ago so I figured it was time for a rewatch of season 1 before I dive into the enemies to lovers brilliance that is Kate and Anthony! I watched Bridgerton season 1 back in 2020 when it first came out, with no prior knowledge of the characters or the series so I’m excited to rewatch it now, having, of course, seen it all before and having read the entire series of books as well.

A Guide to The Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn

Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog. I’m switching things up again today and for once, I’m writing something on-trend and on time. We all know that season 2 of Bridgerton is coming back at the end of the week so today I’m posting a guide to the book series by Julia Quinn! I started reading the series when season 1 of the show came out and I quickly became obsessed so I hope this guide can help some new readers out! You can read the series out of order or in order, it doesn’t really matter. I recommend reading the books in order as characters from previous books will appear as almost every book has multiple Bridgerton siblings in it and recurring characters like the Featheringtons and Lady Danbury, but you can just pick and choose as you go if you’re not too bothered about the other characters.

I also have an entire review of the series that I wrote up last year after I finished my big binge of all 9 books in the series!

An Informal Review of The Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn

#1 The Duke and I

  • Problematic for literally no reason and definitely worse than the show’s first season.
  • I really really love the writing for this series and I loved getting to know the charcaters but overall, no matter how much I enjoyed this book I will never re-read it because it’s tainted by the rape scene, and by default I can never view Daphne (or Simon because he was not blameless in her lack of knowledge of understanding) in the same way again.

TW: rape, death of a parent, abuse/neglectful parent, death during childbirth, rape
