book recommendations for each enneagram type | all rhodes lead here, the foxhole court, normal people…

Hey everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! It’s been a hot minute since I recommended some books here on my blog so I figured what better time than now? I was originally going to do recs directed at each enneagram but then I decided to recommend books based on characters with their enneagram type instead!* I’ve tried to put a broad range of books on here and to categorise the characters myself (some of these I haven’t read in quite a while!) so I’m curious to see how my guesses might compare to yours!

Fun fact, I’m a 6w9 with some type 4 traits too. I’d be really curious to know if you read a lot of books with characters who have a similar enneagram to you or if you read a wide selection of personality types in the books you pick up! I’ve found, in romances in particular that male love interests (in the books I’ve been picking up) have a lot of type 6 and 8 traits. I also tend not to read a lot of books with type 9 characters as main characters.

*Also please keep in mind that a lot of this is just me guessing enneagram numbers and wings so it’s totally okay for you to have a different opinion/ view of that character!

*Just a heads up, it took me a while to put this list together and in that time I slightly forgot how wings work and did them slightly wrong (even if I agree with the wrong numbers lol) with a wing you can only do a number directly left or right of the main enneagram type. e.g. 4w3 or 4w5 πŸ˜‚

he’s a 10 but… | romance recommendations

Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Today I’m trying something a bit new that I saw recently on Instagram and thought looked like fun. I’ve seen this trend going around Bookstagram lately where people start off by saying ‘he’s a 10 but…’ and then try and explain the guy’s flaws in a fun way. I’m not sure I completely aced this on the first go but I did have fun trying so here are a few recommendations that I hope you at least get a laugh out of!

22 THINGS I LOVE IN BOOKS & 55+ BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS! | Weird books, bodyguard romances & soft magic πŸ“šπŸ˜

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m fangirling about 22 of my favourite tropes / favourite things in books! I can be *really* picky with the books that I choose to read, and on top of that, the books that I choose to 5 star! So, with any of the tropes or elements in this list I could be completely thrown off if it was to just be upped a tiny bit, but if it’s the perfect amount than it’s most likely a 4.5 or 5 star read for me. I really am a picky reader which is why so many of my reads get a 3 star rating or somwhere around that, but more often than not, if a book has one of these elements, it’s going to get a really high rating from me!

Also, supringly, it was a lot easier to write this list than my hate list (coming soon!) so that was an honest to god shock but a good one!
