Hey everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! It’s that time of year again! It’s time for round of the Scoobathon! I posted my announcement of the readathon a few days ago and so did my co-host Destiny! I love the Scooby gang so much so I can’t wait to read some bangers and get spooked with all of you!
Hi everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! Today I’m finally posting my Scoobathon round 2 announcement! Last October I ran the first round and had so much fun that I decided to bring it back again for the 2022 spooky season! I’m also cohosting with my fave spooky gal Destiny from Howlinglibraries for this round and I am so excited about this! I highly recommend following Destiny because she’s always posting about spooky/horror books and they always sound amazing!
Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog if you’re new! I’ve been co-hosting the Graphicsathon since 2020 and we’re officially up to round 6 now! Last round we read for an entire month but we’re officially past the halfway mark of the year now so we thought we’d make it short and sweet with one week of catching up on our goodreads goals and getting to the graphics we told ourselves we’d read in the first half of the year!
So, what counts as a graphic?
Anything with images! Comics, graphics novels, manga, picture books. If it uses pictures/images as a main storytelling device, it counts!
Hello everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! I’ve been a bit MIA lately because of work but, I think I’m finally back with a bit of time to think and sit down for more than 5 seconds, so I’m quickly writing up this post! The NSFW readathon is coming up in June and I am 100% participating! I’m not sure if I’m going to start on June 1st or the week before but, either way, I’m really excited to get stuck into some good romance book!
Hi everyone. welcome or welcome back to my blog if you’re new! I’ve been co-hosting the Graphicsathon for a few years now with some of my blogging friends and it’s finally that time of year again! We’re back for round 5 and this round we’re switching things up! Last year we ended the year with a cramathon weekend where we tried to read whatever was left on our tbr for the year. And to kick off 2022 and keep ourselves accountable we’re reading a graphic every day of February, 28 in total!
Our main goal for the readathon is to read a graphic every day but we recognise that everyone’s day looks different and that 28 is a big number so we’re still counting it as a big win if everyone reads every day, even if it’s just a page of your current graphic! We still want this to be a laid back readathon, this is just a fun challenge so don’t pressure yourselves to read 28 if that isn’t an attainable goal for you! It can be 28 graphics read in 28 days or you could modify the goal to reading for 28 days (not necessarily finishing 28 things. It’s up to you and I can’t wait to see all your tbrs and wrap ups! 💕
We’re nearing the end of the year so we’re all trying to catch up on our Goodreads challenge goals so the other Graphicsathon hosts and I thought we’d put on a short weekend Cram Session to try and read as many graphic novels, comics and manga as we can before December hits! I really loved planning and running this readathon and I know it’s a big reason why I’ve read so many things this year so I really hope you’ve all enjoyed the rounds this year and hopefully we’ll be back with a full round soon in 2022!
Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. I’m posting something a bit different today but still very fun. Today I’m officially announcing Scoobathon, a Scooby-Doo themed relaxation! Back in July this year I was in a big Scooby mood and was wondering if there were any Scooby themed readathons but couldn’t find one so I decided to make one of my own!
I hope you’ll join me, this is going to be a lot of fun! 🧡 💚 💙 💜 🐶
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’m just ducking in here quickly to go through my Graphicsathon tbr and all the prompts for the readathon for anyone who missed the announcement earlier this month! I’m super excited about this round because I’ve finally manage to set it at a time where I don’t have assessments due so now I can read as much as I want without having to worry about other things!
You can find the StoryGraph reading challengefor this specifc round here. It’s a lot of fun seeing what everyone is adding to each prompt and I can’t wait to go through it after the readathon to see what everyone read! The google doc for this round should also be done in the next day or two so that will be linked on the Twitter!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m just doing a short but informative post to announce round four of the Graphicsathon! I’ve been running this readathon for a while now and I’ve seriously been loving reading graphics with you all so I figured why not keep it going! And, this round we even have some fantastic new hosts AND we’re hosting sprints for the first time ever! (details at the end of this post)
So, what is Graphicsathon? It’s a readathon dedicated to anything told in graphic (aka. anything where the main storytelling devices is illustrations) so comics, manga and graphic novels all count! We’re also pretty calm about the rules so you can read web comics or even listen to them on audiobook if that’s a mode available to you (I know a lot of comics and graphic novels like Nimona or Ms Marvel are available via audio), it’s all about reading graphics!
I’ll have my tbr coming soon so you can look forward to that! What will you be reading for round four?
Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m bringing you my official blog announcement for the third round of the Graphicsathon along with my tbr pile! The readathon will be taking place during January 16 to 19 00:01 AM your time and I already can’t wait to see your tbrs!
Also, a fun tid bit, for those of you who stuggle with the constraints of a readathon, we now have a Graphicsathon reading challenge over on the Storygraph site, for anyone interested!
Me: This is a shorter, more chill readathon, I’m going to relax with a small tbr Also me: 12 books in 4 days sounds doable.
