I don’t usually do this but I’ve been lobing updating you all on how my reading has been going so far this year so I figured why not do a mid-year goals update too? So, here we are, my goals update so far this year:
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Look at me actually writing something that isn’t a wrap up or a review! Today I’m doing the Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag. I do this tag every year and it’s officially the end of June which means it’s officially half way through the year which means it’s time to freak out!
Hi all! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my July bullet journal spread!
Also a quick caveat – I’m not blessed with any artistic talent and my journal is purely for helping me through the year and I’m using it more to keep myself accountable throughout the year. So, excuse the basic spreads but I’m proud of them!
I honestly don’t remember the last time I did a stats-related post on my blog but I recently saw the legend herself, Marija talk about her mid-year stats on her blog and she really inspired me to do the same thing! So here we are and you’d better grab a snack because I really went ham on the stats and graphs today!
WHAT I’M CURRENTLY READING
The Weight of the Stars & The Battle of the Labyrinth
I’m currently reading The Weight of Stars by K. Ancrum before I go to bed each night and I’m not very far into it so far but I am absolutely loving it and I already know I’m going to get deeply attached to all of these characters!
I’m also buddy reading The Battle of the Labyrinth with Destiny and I’m not even finished the first chapter yet but I’m excited to dive into this!
WHAT I’M PLANNING ON READING NEXT
My next “before bed” read will be Satellite by Nick Lake which I know almost nothing about but I think it’s about teens raised in space who are now coming to Earth and honestly stories like this have always interested me so I’m really interested to rea this. I also plan on picking up The Last Olympian with Destiny in a week or two and I’m super excited to finish this series out!
Wow… July, where has the time gone??? June hit me with a bit of a reading and productivity slump so I’m not sure what I’ll be doing this month + I’ll be starting school again, so honestly who knows! I will say, I have a few buddy reads this month and I’m really excited to get to those!
This month has been a whole-ass wild ride, I can’t believe I’ve officially been socially distancing and staying home (not working, not going on campus for Uni) for 3 and a half months. Absolutely wild! The last couple of months have been very reading heavy for me but this month I really started to slow down. I’ve been having a lot of trouble in general, with sleeping and blogging but I start my next trimester of uni at the start of next month (online, of course) so hopefully, my schedule will start to get more in control and back on track!
So, yeah, I didn’t read a whole lot compared to previous months, but I’m still happy with the actual content I consumed, and I managed to watch a lot of movies and tv shows! This month I had plans to watch all of the marvel movies but I ended up really not being in the mood for the MCU, and instead I ended up getting SUPER invested in Batman instead so be prepared for a lot of Batman in the movies section of my wrap up! 😂🦇
Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! This year I’ve been focusing on getting to know other bloggers in our bookish community and right now I think it’s more important than ever to be staying positive and engaging with each other online, so today I’m interviewing Tiani @ Tiani Angela!
I loved getting to know Tiani more through reading her answers to my questions! She’s such a fun personality and I can’t wait for all of you to get to know her too!
Here are some of Sofia’s most recent blog posts if you’re curious to see what she writes about!
