The Hoemance Book Club’s April 2023 Read: Trade Me by Courtney Milan

Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Back in 2021 Rebecca and I started The Hoemance Book Club and weโ€™ve absolutely loved discussing romance books with our book club every month with everyone in our Discord! We’ve read so many exciting romances lately and we can’t to read some new favourites this year too! Last year we read some real bangers like Weather Girl, Delilah Green Doesnโ€™t Care & The Romantic Agenda and last month we read Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. For the month of April our book club read is Trade Me by Courtney Milan!

Find out more about this month’s book here โ†“  & find our catalogue of past books here.

Tina Chen just wants a degree and a job, so her parents never have to worry about making rent again. She has no time for Blake Reynolds, the sexy billionaire who stands to inherit Cyclone Technology. But when he makes an off-hand comment about what it means to be poor, she loses her cool and tells him he couldnโ€™t last a month living her life.

To her shock, Blake offers her a trade: Sheโ€™ll get his income, his house, his car. In exchange, heโ€™ll work her hours and send money home to her family. No expectations; no future obligations.

But before long, theyโ€™re trading not just lives, but secrets, kisses, and heated nights together. No expectations might break Tinaโ€™s heart…but Blakeโ€™s secrets could ruin her life.
