MY JANUARY 2023 TBR | slow and steady wins the race 📚🥰🤌

Hey everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! It’s finally the start of the new year, so as per the usual monthly traditions, I’m posting my new tbr! I’ll be honest, I’m in a bit of a slump, and I just started panicking about what my first read of the year is going to be, so this tbr is a bit all over the place, and because it’s me, I’ll either read all or none of these books this month. 🤷‍♀️

• Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert – 🌻💕✨🎧 – The first Hoemance read of 2023, and it’s a Talia Hibbert. I can’t wait!
• The Titan’s Curse (PJO #3) by Rick Riordan – 🔁🌻💕🎧 – We’re properly underway with our Riordanverse readalong and I couldn’t be more excited about it!
• Ninth House (Alex Stern #1) by Leigh Bardugo – 🔁🎧 – I haven’t reread this one before, so I’m super super excited to see if I love it as much as I did the first time.
• Hell Bent (Alex Stern #2) by Leigh Bardugo – ✨🎧 – The sequel to Ninth House!! I am very very excited about this one!
• Wicked Games (Dark Obsession Trilogy #1) by Zoe Blake – 🎧 – Ig Reels has me by the throat and that’s how we got here.

• Babel, Or the Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators’ Revolution by R. F. Kuang – 🎧 – It’s about dang time I finally started reading this.
• The Lightning-Struck Heart (Tales from Verania #1) by T. J. Klune – 🎧🌈 – I feel like T J Klune has this whole backlist that I’ve never explored, so I’m hoping that if I put this on my tbr, it will remind me to actually explore Klune’s backlist this year.
• Lost in The Moment and Found (Wayward Children #8) by Seanan McGuire – 🎧✨ – I mean… it’s January, so it’s McGuire time.
• Funny Feelings by Tarah Dewitt – 🎧 – The fact that I finished 2022 without reading this might actually be a crime.
• Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister – 🎧 – A murder mystery told backwards???
