Hey everyone, welcome to or welcome back to my blog! I recently went on a day trip to a suburb I definitely don’t spend enough time in, in my state and went to one of my favourite bookstores (The Really Good Bookshop, for any curious Aussies!) I make a point to go a few times a year and I was very much in need of a bookstore binge where I literally just walk around the store for a couple of hours (and I very much mean hours) and just scour the shelves for new books, and I really think I got some bangers. I’m literally so excited about all of these so don’t be surprised if they pop up in future wrap-ups sooner than later!

- Lords & Ladies (Discworld 14) by Terry Pratchett – This was literally the first book I picked up when I walked into the bookstore and as soon I saw the cover I decided I was 1. buying it and 2. going to read the Discworld series 😂 I have since discovered that they’re releasing all 41 books in the same cover style so my bookshelves & wallet are about to be in all kinds of pain!
- Hogfather (Discworld 20) by Terry Pratchett – I’ve already read this one and I absolutely love it! This is actually the second copy that I own and I can already see myself buying the new series copy that matches Lords and Ladies!!
- Prince’s Gambit (Captive Prince 01) by C. S. Pacat – A few years ago Destiny gifted me a copy of Captive Prince (which forced me to binge-read the entire trilogy in like, 2 days 🙈) and I loved it so when I saw book 2 on the shelf (I’ve literally never seen it IRL before???) I decided to nab it!
- The Initial Insult (The Initial Insult 01) by Mindy McGinnis – I have no idea what this is about but I saw a hardback book by an author I’ve loved in the past on a shelf for $3 and decided to be a rebel 🤷♀️
- The Mystery Boxes (Explorer 01) by Kazu Kibuishi – I’ve read this volume a few times now and I’ve loved it each time so I figured since I’d never seen it in stores I should pick it up instead of hugging the libraries copy.
- The Lost Islands (Explorer 02) by Kazu Kibuishi – I’ve also never seen the second volume either so I grabbed it too, now all I need is vol 3 and I’ll have them all!
