Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! August fel t like both the longest month of my life and also the shortest so I kind of can’t believe it’s over now and that we’re going into September! In August I got stuck into Uni work and I got a new job as well as doing a few week-long reading challenges. So, it was a bit hectic, but because I’m me, I still felt like the most unproductive person on the planet 🤦‍♀️.

• Today Tonight Tomorrow [01/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – A cute idea that would make a great movie, but I think I’m officially over YA books.
• Wolfsong [01-02/08] 🎧🌈 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – So addicting, I had a lot of trouble putting this one down for meal breaks!
• A Lesson in Thorns [03/08] 🎧🌈 – ⭐⭐ – It’s absolutely a no from me.
• A Not So Meet Cute [04/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐ – A no from me. I really did not enjoy this one at all!
• Contest [09/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – not amazing and you can 100% tell it’s a debut, but this is still such a cool idea.
• Troll Mountain [10/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – short but still a lot of fun!

• Hover Car Racer [10-11/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – My favourite Matthew Reilly book so far! I absolutely loved this, it had me jumping up and down like a real race would!
• The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue [12 – 15/08] 🎧🌈🔁 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I absolutely adored this re-read, I just love the slow cadence of this story. | find my pinterest board here
• The Cruel Prince [15-16/08] 🎧 – dnf – lol tik tok i h8 u
• It Ends With Us [17/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – better than i expected but I still think Lily has very questionable taste in men
• Shatter Me [18-19/08] 🎧🔁 – ⭐⭐.5 – Once again, tik tok has failed me
• Electric Idol [21/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I absolutely love Eros and Psyche together! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series! I heard it’s meant to be 10 books and now I’m very excited about it!

• Wicked Beauty [21-22/08] ✨🌈🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐.5 – Not as good as book one but very steamy and I enjoyed the trial scenes!
• Cobalt Blue [22/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐ – My most anticipated book of the year just became one of the worst books I’ve read all year. I am genuinely in shock rn and I’m going to need 3-5 business days to recover.
• Twisted Hate [22-23/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – This one was so fun, I can’t wait to continue this series asap!
• Fake It Till You Bake It [23/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – This was so so much fun!
• The Bodyguard [23/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – This started out really strong but went from a 4 star to average pretty quickly.
• Delilah Green Doesn’t Care [24/08] ✨🎧🌈 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – An absolute joy!

• Out There [17 – 25/08] ✨📚 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐.75 – This was absolutely fantastic and so weird and kinda dark and I loved every second of it.
• I’m Glad My Mom Died [25/08] ✨🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – So so well-written but I was hoping for a bit more reflection towards the end.
• Temple [30-31/08] 🎧 – ⭐⭐⭐ – I thought I was going to love this but unfortunately it was pretty boring and way too long.

• Bullet Train [13/08] ✨ – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – hilarious but also why were there only like 2 main Asian characters in this movie set in Japan?
• Nobody [20/08] – ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 – You can absolutely tell this was made by the same people who made John Wick because this is so similar but I loved it all the same.
