Gallant | 🎧✨
I started Gallant a few days ago and so far I’m only on chapter 5 but, I’m really enjoying it so far. I have no idea if this is going to be a really spooky read or if it’s more of a horror, but either way, I’m really liking it so far. I haven’t read a whole lot of V E Schwab’s books in the past but I’m hoping to gradually read more of her books in the future so I think this is a great place to start.
Archer’s Voice | 🟣🎧

I really thought this was going to be a 4 star new favourite for me and in the beginning, I was really loving it and I was really loving getting to know Archer as a character and I was really interested to know more about Bree and her past. But, really as soon as Archer and Bree got together properly I was over it. I’d be interested to know what else this author has written, especially if she’s written more diverse romances, but I didn’t absolutely love this one.
Tokyo Ever After | 🎧
I haven’t read this one yet but I do have it downloaded on my library app so I already know it’s going to be my next read. All I really know is that this book includes the bodyguard trope and it’s meant to be really reminiscent of The Princess Diaries. That’s all I know about it so far but I’ve heard great reviews so I’m going to give it a go, even though I usually go for adult romances instead of ya.

I hope you like Gallant, it’s one of my most anticipated books of the year 😊 I just got Tokyo Ever After for my Kindle, as I heard great things about it & I wanted to read more books with the bodyguard trope!

I just finished an awesome fantasy book, “The Blessing of the Black Wolves” by JS Murphy. A few google searches about new fantasy series led me to this book. I have always loved a classic rescue story, which this is, but it also turns the genre onto its head a bit by making both the male and female lead equally capable, with captivating back stories. Laran is a strong woman who finds herself enslaved by an evil lord. She saves Sheftu, a nobleman’s son, from death and they set out to escape together. The journey is dangerous, and a blindsiding betrayal almost ends this story prematurely. Lots of drama and suspense in this one, as well as romance! Check this one out (and the sequel just came out too – Raven Seeker – that’s next for me!) – Happy Reading!
