Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Today I’m finally back with some more reviews which I know are more than overdue since I didn’t have time to post any throughout February! I absolutely loved this batch of picture books and I really hope that you’ll pick some of them up after reading my short reviews! There isn’t a book in this stack that I wouldn’t recommend!
Dinosaur Honk!
Thank you so much to Pan Macmillan for providing me with a review copy!
I absolutely adore this series! I love the artwork and just how much fun the books are to read! Dinosaur Honk’s story was fun, but most of all I loved the facts at the beginning and end of the story! Did you know the Parasaurolophus was a herbivore? Because I certainly didn’t!
Dinosaur Squeak
Thank you so much to Pan Macmillan for providing me with a review copy!
Finally, we’re reading the Compsognathus’ story! I’ve loved them ever since I first watched Jurassic Park (which is weird but just rolls with it) and I’ve been not so patiently waiting for Squeak’s story in this series! This was one of my favourite instalments in the series so far! I loved the story and the subtle facts we got about Squeak throughout the story!

Trains Trains Trains!
Thank you so much to Pan Macmillan for providing me with a review copy!
I think every kid goes through a trains phase, right? I know I certainly did so I’m sure you can think of a whole bunch of kids who would absolutely love this! The artwork and colours are fantastic and I just know I would’ve been demanding to go on a train after reading this!
A Good Place
Thank you so much to Walker Books for providing me with a review copy!
Very cute artwork! I really enjoyed this story and I think it’s perfect for any of the little kids who love to go outside and find bugs, or for anyone who loves to garden! I wasn’t big into gardening and bugs when I was little but I knew a few kids who would’ve absolutely devoured this book!
Arabella’s Alphabet Adventure
Thank you so much to Walker Books for providing me with a review copy!
I loved everything from the artwork to the colour palette to how the pages felt! It was such a joy to read this book and it put a big smile on my face! This was such a fun read and it will fit in perfectly in any library – local or at home! I highly recommend Arabella’s story!!
Piano Fingers
Thank you so much to Walker Books for providing me with a review copy!
One of my favourite things about picture books is the endpapers and Piano Fingers does not disappoint!! I love the vibrant red and the brilliant artwork! This was one of my favourites that I’m reviewing today. I loved watching Bea learning to play the piano and I know this absolutely would’ve made me want to learn to play as a child too! I’m starting to get jealous that I didn’t get to read this as a kid!
The Boy With Flowers In HIs Hair
Thank you so much to Walker Books for providing me with a review copy!
Adorable end pages and brilliant and bright artwork! This book catches your attention just with the cover, but I promise you’ll stay for the story! ‘m absolutely loving the new out surge of diverse children’s books over the last few years and I’m so excited that kids are now being exposed to different types of stories and people from such a young age. I wish I’d had books like this at the same age!
This was such a simple way to appreciate kids being individual to each other and showing how good kids can be to each other. I absolutely loved the message and the artwork. I absolutely cannot wait to pass this story onto my local school for the kids to appreciate!
