A CURRENTLY READING UPDATE FROM A VERY SLEEP DEPRIVED BLOGGER

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’ve missed my last few WWW Wed updates because of work but I’m finally back behind a computer so I thought I’d do a quick reading update for you all! I have A LOT of books on my ‘currently reading’ shelf on Goodreads at the moment and I’m also slowly losing the motivation to read them which I’m quickly discovering is a terrible and badly timed combination!

I have read quite a few things already this month, mostly a lot of manga, so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get some books read too to balance out my month of reading. Either way, I am SO ready for 2022 and I’m really hoping to kickstart the new year with some positivity since the last couple of years have been such downers!

While I’m here, does anyone have any tips for getting yourself into a positive reading space? I’m currently trying a tbr jar and picking out a new book every time I lose motivation of finish a book, but I’m starting to get bored by it. I’d appreciate any ideas!

My aim for the rest of December is to try my best to get all of these read so I have a blank slate for the start of 2022 but I’ll be honest there are a few like The Dating Playbook and You’ve Reached Sam that I might end up DNFing because honestly I’m not really enjoying them, but other than that I’m really hoping to get through these quickly since with a lot of them I only have a few hours left of the audiobook!

I have no idea if I’m going to get all of these read or if I’ll DNF a few of them but I’m also hoping to get to In A Holidaze as it’s the Hoemance book club pick for the month and because I somehow haven’t read a single Christmas book this year!
