Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Lately I’ve been in a really weird mood like I want to be more active in the book community but I’m not sure how! I already run two readathons throughout the year so I didn’t want to create another one, especially when there are so many amazing ones out there already. This year I’ve been really loving exploring the romance genre and getting recommendations from my friend Rebecca who’s been redaing romance for a lot longer than I have, so I took to Twitter and luckily for me and unluckily for you, Lara convinced me to start a book club!
*drum roll* TITLE REVEAL EVEN THOUGH YOU DEFINTIELY SAW IT IN THE TITLE OF THIS BLOG POST *jazz hands*
So, yeah, a bit anticlimactic but, my new book club is called The Hoemance Book Club! 😂 It’s a silly twist on a romance I read earlier this year called ‘The Bromance Book Club’ by Lyssa Kay Adams. I’m really excited to run this book club and for you to hopefully join with me and my co-host Rebecca!
We’ve created a Discord to discuss each month’s book with you, and we also have a Twitter and an Instagram where we can discuss all things romance! Each month we will have a new romance to read and discuss with you all, we will alternate between new releases and backlists and we also take requests/suggestions so if you have a book you want to read or discuss with us you can suggest it in this Google Form! After September we will also be revealing all the future book club picks 3 months in advance so everyone has the chance to find/access their copies in enough time to read them with us! So, towards the middle of September we’ll announce the 2021 October, November and December Hoemance picks!
