WWW Wednesday 04/08/2021 | Re-reading old favourites and discovering new ones! πŸ˜πŸ˜

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’ve had a pretty good reading week so far (I know we’re only 4 days into the month so it barely counts πŸ˜‚) and I’ve been really enjoying everything I read. But, I’ve definitely been feeling like I can’t read fast enough lately and it’s getting slightly overwhemling! I love reading and I have a pretty sizeable tbr and oh boy, I have so many amazing reading plans coming up that I just can’t get to them fast enough! Does anyone else ever feel like this?

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you can find my other WWW Wednesday posts and find my progress here.

Lair of Dreams | πŸ”πŸŽ§πŸŒˆπŸŸ£

Goodreads Review // StoryGraph Review

I’m currently jsut over the halfway mark of Lair of Dreams and so far I’m really enjoying this! This series is really slow with fast paced endings to each book. Mostly Libba Bray just builds up the characters and the suspense and then scares the shit out of you in the end, but I love getting to know the characters and their weird slang so much that it doesn’t bother me!

Something to Talk About | 🎧🌈

Goodreads Review // StoryGraph Review

I had no idea what to expect from this but I saw it on my Instagram feed and I figured why not try somethink new? Honestly, I’m shocked I’d never heard of this before or ever even seen the cover! It’s a really cute slowburn romance between an assiastant and her boss (a showrunner/writer) and it was really really good! I think this would be great for fans of Evelyn Hugo which is why I’m so suprised I’d never heard of it until now!

Before The Devil Breaks You, The King of Crows & My Lady Jane | πŸŽ§πŸŒˆπŸŸ£πŸ”

I’m really enjoying reading the Diviners series and since I never got around to reading the fourth book when it came out a few years ago!

I’m also hoping to finally continue reading the Lady Janies series since I just discovered the audiobooks on Libro.fm! I’ve only read book 1 so I’m going to re-read it and hopefully continue the series throughout the rest of the year!

What are you currently reading?
Are we reading any of the same books?
