WWW Wednesday // 07.04.2021 | Finally getting back into reading! πŸ˜πŸ˜

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update for how my reading has been going for the last week, and what I’ll be reading over the next couple of weeks!

Last month I didn’t read very much at all, compared to my usual reading rate. But, things are already looking up for April. I’m currently in the middle of my uni study break, so I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks which has been really nice. I also think I won’t be going into campus for most of next week, so hopefully my wrap up this month will have some good variety in it.

I’ve been re-reading a few books so far this week and I’m definitely in a good reading mood so I can only hope that my upcoming assessments for uni don’t completely plateau my reading mood!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you can find my other WWW Wednesday posts and find my progress here.

My reading over the last week:

Legendary  | πŸ”πŸŽ§

I’m currently in the middle of re-reading Legendary so I can finally read book 3 which I’m hoping to buddy read with Rebecca sometime this month. I love the world of Caraval and the first book in this series is one of my favourite guilty pleasure books so I’m super excited to be back in this world!

The Wicker King

I was recently re-watching a Booksandlala vlog where she was reading The Wicker King by K Ancrum (who also wrote The Weight of Stars) and she got me super excited to read this. I’ve never been super interested in this story, especially because there’s no audiobook (and the physical copy isn’t available at my library) but yesterday I noticed the ebook on Scribd so I decided to give it a go. So far I’m loving it!

At this point, I think I’ve read Caraval 5 times so I guess you could say I like this one.

I have never read an anthology I liked and this was no different, but some of these stories were genuinely good. I recommend it if you like both anthologies and Shakespeare.

Miss Meteor & Finale

My next two reads will be buddy reads with Rebecca! I’ve had MIss Meteor on my tbr for a while, I’m hoping to read a bunch of new releases this year and I’m especially excited to read something by Tehlor Kay Mejia and to get more Anna-Marie McLemore content!

And after that I’d really like to (finally) finish reading the Caraval trilogy!

What are you currently reading?
Are we reading any of the same books?
