WWW Wednesday // 10.03.2021 | Starting uni and remembering to read regularly

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update for how my reading has been going for the last week, and what I’ll be reading over the next couple of weeks!

Uni just started this week so I’m currently on day 3 and already exhausted! 😂 Honestly though, I am excited for one of my classes and the book list looks pretty interesting so I’m sure you’ll see plenty of them over the coming months. Really though, in terms of my reading lately, I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus. I read so much in the first 2 months of 2021 that the moment life forced me to take a break, I ended up at a total stand still. I’m just stating to read reguarly again and honestly I’m really excited about the books I’m planning on picking up next!

Wanna Bet? | 🎧

I’ve heard such good things about Talia Hibbert’s books so when Rebecca challenged me to read this I was really excited, but so far I am not loving this. I’m 7 chapters in and and genuinely not enjoying this. I really think that if Rebecca hadn’t challenged me to read this book, I would have DNFd it by now. The things is, I really can’t even figure out why I don’t like this book.

Ahh yes a too long book about a group of pretentious and money-hungry children playing with the law and the lives of everyone around them just because they can. They drink, they speak greek and they pose like the pretentious dickheads that they are. When I read A Little Life, I didn’t love it but it still had pros to go with the cons, but with The Secret History, I cannot think of any, not even the writing was good.
