WWW Wednesday [04.11.2020] // *Finally* Getting Back To Reading!

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog! I haven’t done one of these in a while because I haven’t been reading but I’m finally back in the reading mood and I couldn’t be happier about it so, today I’m coming at you with an update for how my reading has been going for the last week, and what I’ll be reading over the next weeks!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you can find my other WWW Wednesday posts and find my progress here.

A Court of Mist and Fury

A Court of Mist and Fury

I’m currently roughly 85-90% of the way through this one and LOVING it! I put off reading this series for years because I’ve honestly, never heard a positive thing about it. But, I knew that Destiny was a big fan of the series so I figured I’d give it a go, fully expecting to DNF the first book a few pages in. And, look at me now, almost finished book 2 and about to start book 3 asap!

I’m really loving how Feyre’s character has been written and how authentic her storyline and her reactions to events from book one and the start of this book were written. I’m also loving getting to know Rhysand and some of the new characters!

Here are my Goodreads update so far, if you’re curious.

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)

A Court of Thorns and Roses

I feel like this series has totally taken me by suprise! I’ve only ever heard negative comments about this book so the fact that I gave it a 3.75 ⭐ rating is amazing to me! The writing is nothing to write home about but the rest of this book? Literally just a normal YA/NA fantasy… what the hell have you all been yelling about all these years???

You can find my mini-Goodreads review here.

A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3)
A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1)

A Court of Wings and Ruin & A Court of Frost and Starlight

I’m almost finished ACOMAF so either I’ll try to break up my series-binge and read something else of I’ll jump straight into book 3. Most likely, I’ll just keep going with the series though since I’m havin gso much fun reading it!
