Yeah… so October. I didn’t do a whole lot other than the Graphicsathon and Uni work so naturally, my tbr got thrown out the window and I ended up not really getting any blog-related stuff done. I have higher hopes for November though!

- The Tea Dragon Society [11/10] – 3 ⭐ – Cute but not particularly memorable, unfortunately.
- I Hate Fairyland Vol 1 [11/10] – 4.5 ⭐ – I don’t know what to say at this point – this is a perfect comic and I love it with my entire heart. Please go read it!
- Goldie Vance Vol 2 [12/10] – 3.5 ⭐ – A cute plot with big Scooby-Doo/Sherlock Holmes vibes.
- Princess Princess Ever After [12/10] – 3 ⭐ – Katie O’Neill has a cute art style and writing style but I don’t think her books are something I’ll ever re-read.
- Acuicorn Cove [12/10] – 3.75 ⭐ – Probably my favoutite of O’neill’s works so far but again, not someghing I’ll re-read.
- Pumpkinheads [12/10] – 3 ⭐ – Why am I having such bad luck with averagegraphic novels??
- Goldie Vance Vol 3 [12/10] – 3.75 ⭐ – Much better than vol 2!
- Goldie Vance Vol 4 [13/10] – 3 ⭐ – I’m very sad that this series got cancelled. It wasn’t perfect but it was a lot of fun and had so much potential!
- Nova Vol 1 [13 – 14/10] – 4.5 ⭐ – Such a good comic, can’t wait to continue my re-read!
- Nancy Drew Vol 1 [14/10] – 4.5 ⭐ – Practically perfect! I can’t believe this got cancelled because it was SO GOOD!! I will absolutely be re=reading this again in the future!
- Komi Can’t Communicate Vol 1 [15/10] – 4 ⭐ – Very interesting, I’l probably continue this series in the future too!
- A Silent Voice Vol 3 [22 – 25/10] – 3.25 ⭐ – Not as good as the first two volumes but I still really loved this!
- Smoke Gets in Your Eyes & Other Lessons from the Crematory [25-26/10] – 3 ⭐ – One thing I can say about this book… it’s descriptive! The author never scrimps on the details.
- A Court of Thorns and Roses [27-28/10] – 3.75 ⭐ – This was a total shock to me in that, I absolutely loved it! The story has it’s flaws but I really liked Feyre and I will deifnitely be reading book 2 asap!
- An Embarrassment of Witches [29/10] – 1 ⭐ – An interesting colour scheme and art style but completely boring story and characters. Absolutely not worth your time.

- The Boys in The Band [01/10] – 4 ⭐ – Absolutely fantastic. Very sad and depressing but wonderful script, lighting, filming, cast etc. I highly recommend, but not if you’re in the mood for a happy movie!
- Rocketman [02/10] – 4 ⭐ – Amazing acting (everyone, but especially Taron Egerton), brilliant cinematography and brilliantly shot. Honestly, just a constantly enthralling and interesting movie.
- Bill & Ted Face The Music [03/10] – 4.5 ⭐ – Righteous, man! A perfect movie!
- You Season 2 [03 – 04/10] – 4 ⭐ – As disturbing as I expected after having watched season 1 a while ago and I honestly had a great time!
- Dear Evan Hansen [05/10] – 4 ⭐ – Fantastic soundtrack! Ben Platt is amazing but it just felt like there was something missing. no idea what it was though.
- Wonder Woman [05/10] – 3.5 ⭐ – I have seen this 4 or 5 times now and never loved it, in fact, this was probably my least favourite rewatch so far. There’s just something about this movie that I don’t love. Maybe it’s the war element? Idk but i’ve got my fingers crossed I’ll love WW1984.
- You Season 1 [04 – ??/10] – 3.5 ⭐ – I really enjoyed watching s2 so I figured I’d rewatch s1 before I got stuck into my assessments! I really enjoyed the season, especially already knowing what would happen. I think I preferred the second season more, but it was still so compelling!
- John Wick [19/10] – 4 ⭐ – Had to watch this for an assignment and as always it was fantastic! Highly recommend if you want a well shot action movie, with very little dialogue.
- The Old Guard [20/10] – 4 ⭐ – A big suprise to me, in that I didn’t turn it off after the first 20 minutes. Will definitely watch again and absolutely recommend if you love found family!
- Hocus Pocus [23/10] – 3.5 ⭐ – I’m not a Halloween kind of gal but this was actually pretty fun!
- Rumour Has It [23/10] – 0.5 ⭐ – A movie about 3 generation of women all cheatin gon their partners with the same man. Takes motherly bonding to a whole new level and I hate it.
- A Nice Girl Like You [23/10] – 0.5 ⭐ – I’m not joking when I say this movie is dirt under my shoe bad and that Lucy Hale needs a new agent.
- Hubie Halloween [24/10] – 3 ⭐ – Sandler needs a new kind of character to play because nothing feels good about this now. Other than that, this was actually a pretty decent movie.
- Turner & Hootch [24/10] – 4.5 ⭐ – I fucking love this movie and can’t believe it took me 20 years to watch it.
- Killers [24/10] – 3 ⭐ – What happens when you combine a shitty movie with my favourite trope? You get this movie and a seriously conflicted viewer.
- The Spy Who Dumped Me [24/10] – 3 ⭐ – I’ll probably never rewatch this but, you know what? I am absolutely here for the sisterly bonding because it was the main focus and was written to PERFECTION!
- Drive [30/10] – 3.5 ⭐ – Completely what I was expecting, and you know what? I really loved it. I will absolutely be re-watching this again in the future!
- Rebecca [31/10] – 3 ⭐ – Not as bad as I was expecting but I wish it had been better!

Criminal Minds Season 1 [06/10 – ??] – Whenever assessment week comes around, I’ll get really hyper-fixated on a tv show. This past month’s show was Criminal Minds which honestly wasn’t too bad of a pick. The time beore that was Shameless (US) and before that it was ER, I wish I had a theme so I could know how to avoid these things in advance! 😂

I got hyperfixation on something whenever I have a huge exam coming up too, it’s driving me nuts! I tried everything like avoiding the media during these times but I still got obsessed with something.

I 100% with you that Caitlin Doughty never skips on the details, in any of her three books. I have read all three and enjoyed them because of that fact. I hope you have better luck with graphic novels going forward as well!
