WWW WEDNESDAY 05.08.2020 // Hopefully getting back into a good reading mood!

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! As you all might now if you’ve been following me closely this year, 2020 has been a really weird year for me. I’ve been either reading like crazy or almost not at all and I developed some crazy Insomnia, so 2020 has been A LOT.

So, the last few months for me have been pretty slow in terms of reading but I think August is going to be a good month for me because I’m already getting stuck into a few books and I’ve had a really positive start to the month so hopefully you’ll see a few postitive WWWs in the future!

The Lost Hero – Rick Riordan

I’m currently reading The Lost Hero with Destiny and I am LOVING it! I read the series ages ago as the books were being released and I thought I remembered most of it, but I’ve forgotten quite a bit of it. I’m not finished the first book yet but I’m already amazed at how many things have caught me off guard! So far, I’m not loving Piper and I think Leo is my favourite but I do think that Piper is really interesting so I’m hoping she’ll become a favourite in the next few books!

Can’t Escape Love – Alyssa Cole

I just finished reading Can’t Escape Love by Alyssa Cole. I had never even heard of this novella before but I was catching up on Reading Rush vlogs and Zoe’s All Booked was talking about it and honestly it sounded so good that I immediately looked it up on Scribd and started listening to the audiobook! I’m not gonna lie, I really wish this had been a full-fledged book because I loved these characters and their dorky romance, I got peak The Kiss Quotient vibes which is a major compliment from me because that’s probably my favourite romance of all time!

Midnight Sun – Stephenie Meyer + My Dak Vanessa – Kate Elizabeth Russell

Next up I’m planning on picking up Midnight Sun with Rebecca and then My Dark Vanessa with Destiny and Bec because apparently I’m obsessed with buddy reads! I have no idea what to expect from either of these reads, all I know is that one will prpbably be a 1 star and that they’ll both be disturbing and possibly for similar reasons.
