Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Over the last couple of years, I’ve really been trying to focus on series and writing reviews and recently I realised I actually have a really big list of series I want to read, and no idea where to start. So, I figured why not chat about it with all of you?

A Darker Shade of Magic is a great series, you should definitely read it! π I want to read The Dark Artifices, Beautiful Creatures, and Saga too, I’ve heard a lot of good things about those. π Great list!

Starting and finishing series is a huge thing for me. Due to real life constraints, I was unable to read for many years – so I missed out on so many good series! Definitely on my list is The Raven Cycle, The Diviners (although I’ve read the first), the Lunar Chronicles, and Cassandra Clare books. I’ve only read the first three of her Shadowhunter books. There is an even longer list of series I haven’t read, those are just a few. It can be quite intimidating sometimes, but I remind myself that I am lucky that I still get to experience them for the first time instead of thinking I’m behind.

I love reading series too!
I loved The Raven Cycle and I’ve read the first 3 Diviners books and they’re fantastic! I also love The Lunar Chronicles! I find the Cassandra Clare books are easy to binge-read which is handy since there are so many Shadowhunter books!
I feel the same way, I missed so many series when I was younger but I’m loving reading them now!

Hm… Some of these seem very interesting, I actually added Saga and Vampire Academy to my to-read list. Anyway, I haven’t read any of these except some of the Harry Potter books so I can’t really recommend which one you’d start with. But, Saga still seems good. (:

Itβs always so interesting to see what series people still need to finish! I still need to finish Saga too π ! As for the A Darker Shade of Magic and The Raven CycleβIβve decided to abandon those series π . The Diviners is high on my TBR though π!

Oh wow, you didn’t like them? I really enjoyed TRC but I haven’t read the series since it ended with book 4!
I love The Diviners, I hope you enjoy it!

I think I picked the A Darker Shade of Magic series up at the wrong time and forced myself to read it a bit haha – I would eventually like to revisit actually! I really wanted to like TRC too, but I think the writing just wasnβt for me π.

Oh, is there a series after Vampire Academy? I’ll have to read it once I start the VA series!

Yup, bloodlines is the sequel for VA. Interestingly, I only read 1 book from VA but 2 from bloodlines π

Ahh okay that’s interesting! I think I’m reading VA early next year so I’ll definitely keep the sequel series in my mind! Do you think the series is better than VA?

It’s been so long so I already forgot TBH π But I remember enjoying it as much; it has the same easy writing and feels as VA π

Ahh okay, good to know! I like books that have that easy to read kind of writing so I’ll probably check the series out! Thanks for letting me know, Tasya!
