Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update for how my reading has been going for the last week, and what I’ll be reading over the next weeks!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you can find my other WWW Wednesday posts and find my progress here.

Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)

So, I’m a terrible buddy-reader because by the time you’re all reading this post I’m meant to be almost finished with this book. But, I still haven’t started it! I do think I’ll be starting it in the morning tomorrow and then I’ll most likely binge read it all in one day!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter, #2)

As I’m writing this post, I literally just finished reading this not even 5 minutes ago. I really enjoyed it (especially the bits with Lockhart and Oliver Wood) but because I was reading it so slowly and not rushing through it at like 3x speed on audio, I spotted quite a few, sort of, issues that I had with the book? Basically, as much as I love this book for the innocence and hilarity of it, it’s very slow going, there’s a lot of fat-shaming and it’s got a really anti-climacitc and really short ending, it sort of summed itself up in like 10 pages. Also, Voldemort was such a shitty villain??

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Honestly, the only thing I really want to read right now is Drarry fanfiction because apparently, that’s something I like now??? This re-read is changing me y’all!

I really don’t know what I’m in the mood for. I think I’d like to continue on with my re-read of the HP series so hopefully, I can finish PoA this month (even though I kind of want to skip book 3 entirely and move onto book 4). Otherwise, I’m not really sure, I might just pick up some random comics off my tbr shelves!

    1. CoS is one of my favourites because of Lockhart but yeah, as an actual book and as a sequel it’s not great! I agree, nothing happens until the very end of book 4! That’s a lot of books to get through before you even start to get to the point!

      1. Yes from Sanderson! It is very different from his other works, which I knew, and is good to know going in! It is very fast-paced non-stop action, so if you’re ever in the mood for a book like that!
Definitely not his best work though, but enjoyable!
