Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update for how my reading has been going for the last week, and what I’ll be reading over the next weeks!

Into The Drowning Deep

• Into The Drowning Deep – Re-read, Buddy Read with Destiny – I loved this when I read it back in 2018, and I’ve been meaning to re-read it ever since so I can’t wait to see how I react to it a few years later!

Northanger Abbey + The Mysteries of Udolpho

• Northanger Abbey – Re-read, Uni read – 3 ⭐ – And with this, my mini reading challenge to re/read all of Austen’s finished works is almost over! Honestly, this was a pretty average read for me. I had it read in a couple of hours but, I don’t feel particularly passionate about it.
• The Mysteries of Udolpho – Uni read – 3.5 ⭐ – This will definitely be my longest read of the year, actually, it’s probably the longest book I’ve ever read. It was interesting and I liked the writing, but it was a bit rocky and inconsistent and nothing really happened for the first third. I would still recommend it if you’re into gothic classics and don’t mind a chunky read, but otherwise, it’s a bit too tedious and boring a read to commit to.

Lady Audley’s Secret + Platform Seven

• Lady Audley’s Secret – Uni read – I know nothing about this other than that it’s also on the long side and I probably won’t enjoy reading it. Oh well!
• Platform Seven – Buddy Read with Destiny – Literally Dead Book Club pick for March, I’m not much of a book club reader but this sounded interesting so I thought I’d give it a go! Also, I’m buddy reading it with Destiny so that should make it a lot of fun!
