I want to read ‘Rick’ by Alex Gino when it comes out, but for some reason I thought the main character was going to be gay, not ace. I’m not still not entirely sure what demisexual means, is it similar to pansexual?

The main character is definitely ace!
Demisexual is sexual/romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of gender or identity! So, it’s different to bisexuality in that they don’t mind how the other person/s identifies gender-wise if that makes sense?
