Becoming the Dark Prince (Stalking Jack the Ripper, #3.5) The Chase (Briar U, #1) The Risk (Briar U, #2) The Play (Briar U, #3) Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) Eclipse (Twilight, #3)

  ★★★☆☆     ★★★☆☆      ★★★☆☆       ★★☆☆☆     ★★★★☆     ★★★☆☆
  • Becoming The Dark Prince [01/10/2019] – 3 ⭐ – I wish I could tell you guys that I loved this and it made my day and it was worth the however much I paid for it. But honestly, this did nothing for me.
  • The Chase [07/10/2019] – 3 ⭐ – Buddy read with Rebecca – This was nothing special but it was a fun read!
  • The Risk [08/10/2019] – 3 ⭐ – Buddy read with Rebecca“If wishes were horses we’d all be equestrians.” And that about sums this book up. 🙈
  • The Play [09/10/2019 – 15/10/19] – 3 ⭐ – Buddy read with Rebecca – I didn’t hate this but I didn’t love it either. I think I need to take a break from the overwhelming NA stereotypes for a few weeks.
  • Clockwork Prince [01/10/19 – 20/10/19] – 3 ⭐ – I didn’t love this. I knew it was more centred around Will so I never thought it would be a 5 star read but, I thought at least I would appreciate it enough to rate it 4 stars.
  • Eclipse [20/20/19 – 26/10/19] – 3 ⭐ – Buddy read with Rebecca – This could have been a lot worse but it also could have been a lot better, it was very middle of the road.

Mostly Void, Partially Stars (Welcome to Night Vale Episodes, #1) The Great Glowing Coils of the Universe (Welcome to Night Vale Episodes, #2)

  ★★★★☆     ★★★☆☆      ★★★☆☆       ★★☆☆☆     ★★★★☆     ★★★☆☆     ★★★☆☆
  • Mostly Void, Partially Stars [03/11/19 – 11/11/19] – 4 ⭐ – I cannot explain the inherent joy that reading this brought me. If you haven’t listened to or read this book series, you need to!
  • The Great Glowing Coils of the Universe [11/11 – 12/11/19] – 3.5 ⭐ – This wasn’t as good as book 1, but I did really enjoy the character and world developments and I can tell that I’m quickly becoming attached to these characters (except for Steve Carslberg, duh!).

The Buying of Lot 37 (Welcome to Night Vale Episodes, #3) The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) Sense and Sensibility Pride and Prejudice Emma

  ★★★★☆     ★★★☆☆      ★★★☆☆       ★★★★☆     ★★★☆☆     ★★★★☆     ★★☆☆☆
  • The Buying of Lot 37 [12/11 – 01/12/19] – 4 ⭐ – I read this collection a lot slower than the others but I loved it just as much!
  • The Magician’s Nephew [04/12/2019] – 3 ⭐ – I won’t lie, I know absolutely nothing about this world but, I did enjoy this. I won’t say it was amazing, but I’m certainly interested in continuing this series.
  • The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe [05/12/2019] – 3 ⭐ – I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would, that being said this felt almost too fast for me? Which is such a weird complaint since the main reason I read this is because of the page number. Also, the blatant sexism wasn’t fun to read.
  • Scythe [8 – 12/12/19] – 4 ⭐ – This is genuinely a good book but the romance was so unbelievable and underdeveloped that it brought the whole book down.
  • Sense & Sensibility [26 – 27/12/19] – 3.5 ⭐ – I’ve never read this one before but I recently saw a few scenes from the movie and was intrigued, so I decided to try reading the book. I’m not shocked that I enjoyed it because I already know I love Jane Austen’s writing but I am surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I still prefer Pride & Prejudice, but I know I will definitely return to this story in the future!
  • Pride & Prejudice [27 – 28/12/19] – 4 ⭐ – I think this has been my favourite re-read so far!
  • Emma [28 – 29/12/19] – 2.75 ⭐ – I am not an Emma stan and so I really really didn’t like this book.

  1. I’m drowning in Jane Austen novels and yet I’ve only ever read Pride & Prejudice. Hopefully I can change that in 2020. I initially was slated to begin a Jane Austen book club at my library before I switched jobs…hence the overflow of Austen literature. lol
