Thunderhead
My big goal for the next week or so is just to read this trilogy and hopefully review the trilogy before the end of the year. I just finished Scythe and I’m a few chapters into this one and so far I’m finding it pretty interesting but I’m not feeling like I *need* to really finish it like I did with Scythe.
Scythe
I finished reading Scythe a few days ago and really enjoyed it but, I definitely didn’t love it as much as I was hoping to. I think the romance subplot really overpowered the book and disrupted the already slow-going plot. That being said, I think the actual world of the Scythes and the Thunderhead is really interesting and extremely compelling so I really loved that aspect over everything else.
The Toll
So, I plan on reading this hopefully before the end of the week, and definitely before the end of the month. I know that as soon as I finish Thunderhead I’ll want to move straight onto this one, so hopefully, my review for the trilogy will be up sometime next week!

I really need to read Scythe. I have it somewhere in my room (i moved home awhile ago so all my books are still in boxes *sad face*). I’m glad you enjoyed Scythe for the most part but I’m sorry you didn’t love it! I hope Thunderhead gets better for you the most you read it! ❤

Oh nooo I’m so sad to hear you felt like the romance was overwhelming. I thought I might give Scythe a try even though I’m bad with series, but I’n even worse with romance! I hope you still enjoy the rest of the series

It’s a really interesting book but I thought the romance came completely out of left field! It’s still worth a try and I think there’s less romance in book 2!
