Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update of how my reading has been going for the last couple of weeks, which is to say that it hasn’t, so I’m doing this in the hopes that talking about books I’m excited about will motivate me to actually pick up a book that isn’t for Uni.

I’m currently reading The Flatshare and I’m gonna be honest I haven’t hit the 100-page mark yet but so far I’m really not loving this. I honestly think the writing is throwing me off at the moment, but maybe once I’m further into it, it won’t bother me so much??? I’m mostly okay with Tiffy’s pov, but Leon’s character is written really strangely, like a list without the bullet points. He’s sort of written as a robot, like, he doesn’t use full sentences in his head and it’s really weird. BUT, I have heard great things about this book so I am really hoping that I’ll get used to the writing and I’ll end up loving this one!
Fix Her Up | ★★★☆☆
I was really excited to read this one but unfortunately, I really didn’t like it. I don’t know exactly what it was that I didn’t enjoy about this but I really liked the first half, but not the second half as much, and I definitely wasn’t a fan of the ending. I think I might pick up more of Tessa Bailey’s books in the future, just not the rest of this series, most likely.
The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Tempest, Clockwork Prince
The next book I’m hoping to get to is The Cuckoo’s Calling because technically I’ve already started this and my review is scheduled to go up at the end of the month, so I should probably finish reading it, right?
After that, I’m planning on reading The Tempest and Clockwork Prince hopefully before this time next week! (my review of Clockwork Prince should go up early October, for anyone curious.)
