Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update of how my reading has been going for the last couple of weeks, which is to say that it hasn’t, so I’m doing this in the hopes that talking about books I’m excited about will motivate me to actually pick up a book that isn’t for Uni.

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you can find my other WWW Wednesday posts and find my progress here.

The Kiss Quotient (The Kiss Quotient, #1)

The Kiss Quotient

I am currently re-reading The Kiss Quotient because as you’re about to see, I recently finished The Bride Test (book 2 in the companion series) and it put me in a really happy mood so I figured why mess with success? and now I’m very happily re-reading one of my favourite books of the year. I really never would have guessed that this would be a favourite because I’ve never really felt that way about a romance before, but I really love the characters in this one, I can’t recommend it enough!

The Bride Test (The Kiss Quotient, #2)

The Bride Test

Okay, so I definitely didn’t love this as much as I loved book 1 but I did really enjoy it! I liked Khai enough and I loved how strong Esme was, that being said, there was A LOT of crying in this and it could sometimes be too much. I also wasn’t a big fan of how the characters actually met, which is a massive part of this book, but other than that, I did like the characters and I’m sure I’ll re-read this again next year before book 3 comes out. ALSO, oh my god, this book and now re-reading The Kiss Quotient is giving me so much appreciation for Quan and May 2020 cannot come fast enough!

Macbeth, The Opal Deception, Stormbreaker

Okay, so I live by my reading schedule (which you can catch a glimpse of here) but because of school and general health problems I’m a bit behind so I’m planning to use this coming weekend as a catch-up. I’ll be reading Artemis Fowl over the weekend and hopefully, be reading Macbeth on Monday and then Stormbreaker soon after!

  1. I adore Helen Hoang. I prefer book two, but you really can’t go wrong with either 😀 I haven’t read Stormbreaker in years but was obsessed with Alex Rider when I was younger… I’m looking forward to your review on it 🙂

    1. I love Helen Hoang too! I can’t wait for book 3! I loved book 1 more, but I definitely still enjoyed book 2!

I love Stormbreaker it just gets me in such a good mood, and so does book 2!

I’m hoping to review the series, but I’d be happy to write individual reviews too, if you’d like? Just lmk!
