Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my on-screen wrap up of all the movies and shows I watched from May to August of this year! I did the same thing last year and really enjoyed it but found I didn’t enjoy just giving you guys my ratings, so this time I’ve included a sentence or two talking about how I felt about what I watched, so let me know if you like this new format and I’ll continue with it!

★★★★★ ★★★☆☆ ★★★☆☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★★★★
- Lilo and Stitch – This is all I watch now. I’ve started quoting it in normal conversation.
- The Incredible Hulk – This would have been so much more interesting to me without the romance sub-plot.
- Thor – I forgot how many characters were in this movie, what a gem.
- Jane Eyre – Yikes™, why do people like this sh*t?
- Begin Again – There was a Mark Ruffalo movie that I hadn’t seen and I couldn’t let that continue obviously.
- Laggies – Please never let random women stay in your house, even if they’re Keira Knightly.
- 🎬John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum – Beautiful but also totally disgusting. Caution: don’t eat while watching.
★★★★☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★☆☆☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★☆☆☆ ★★★★☆
- 🎬Shazam – Just as funny the second time around.
- Daphne & Velma – This movie just single-handedly destroyed my childhood.
- Life As We Know It – I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this, but apart from the thing (pls look at trigger warnings) that actually kick-starts the plot, this was pretty good.
- Good Sam – This was pretty meh tbh.
- The Ugly Truth – Almost everything about this movie was offensive.
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall – I wanted to click out of this one so badly but I stayed for Kristen Bell and Paul Rudd.
- The Age of Adaline – Yep, I still love this.
★★★★★ ★★★★☆ ★★★★★
- 🎬Aladdin – I will never shut about this movie. My favourite live-action remake so far.
- 🎬Heathers – Wow, I loved this, 10/10 pls watch this.
- 🎬Aladdin – If you don’t love this we can’t be friends.
★★★☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★★★★ ★★★☆☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★★★★
- 101 Dalmations – Wow, Glenn Close went off.
- Megamind – I forgot how much I love this movie, I had so much fun re-watching this.
- 🎬Aladdin – I think you’ve probably guessed but I really love this movie.
- Always Be My Maybe – This was so much fun, I love rom-coms surrounded around food!
- Charming – The worst movie I’ve seen in a while. Good God.
- 🎬Avengers: Endgame – I love ladies so that A-force scene really got me.
- 🎬Aladdin – Yes, I have seen Aladdin 4 times now. That’s a lot, wow.
★★★★☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★☆☆☆ ★★★★☆
- Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse – The first quarter-ish of this movie is pretty eh but it picks up so quick! This movie is so much fun!
- 🎬Detective Pikachu – I have no idea what to say about this movie. I know nothing about Pokemon, but this was still pretty enjoyable. But, I also didn’t love it??? I have no idea.
- Dracula – please don’t watch this with your younger siblings oh my god I made a mistake.
- Spider-Man Homecoming – I haven’t watched this in like, a year and wow I forgot how much I hate Ned.
★★★☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★★★★ ★★★☆☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★☆☆☆
- 🎬Spider-Man: Far From Home – Mysterio is such a good villain, this movie got me so excited for the future of the MCU!
- Lilo & Stitch – This movie has quite possibly saved my life.
- Overboard – This actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be but at the same time the entire plot is about a woman kidnapping a man with amnesia so…
- 🎬Men in Black: International – I am honestly so impressed. Like, this could have been so much better but, it wasn’t horrible and I actually had a lot of fun watching this! I wouldn’t mind a sequel if they decided to make one.
- 🎬After – yikes, this ain’t it, sis.
- Singin’ In The Rain – I actually liked this a lot?? But also it was super dull??? I’m very confused.
- Toy Story 4 – The only good thing about this movie was Keanu Reeves
★★★☆☆ ★☆☆☆☆ ★★★★☆
- The Grinch – I love this movie… a lot.
- Murder Mystery – Nope. Nope. Nope.
- Cinderella – *sighs* everything about this movie is perfect.
- The Great train Robbery – Damn, this was… not good.
- The Golden Beetle – If it were possible for me to sleep with my eyes open this would have been a great time to employ that skill.
- A Trip To The Moon – oh boiiii
- The Dog & His Various Merits – I love dogs but this was completely boring.
★★★☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★☆☆☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★★★★ ★☆☆☆☆
- Sherlock Jr. – I feel like a bad screen major for not liking this.
- Crawl – This was scary and I’m a wimp so I left the cinema a half-hour in.
- The Fast and The Furious – This was actually so good??? What the hell???
- 2 Fast 2 Furious – This was actually terrible. Utter garbage. I want Vin Diesel and his constipation face back.
- A Discovery of Witches Season 1 – Surprisingly binge-able, but also kind of boring?? I am looking forward to the future seasons though because I haven’t read the other books in the trilogy so I will actually be surprised.
- Shakespeare Retold: Much Ado About Nothing – This was everything I love in life. So many of my favourite actors were in this and combined with this being one of my favourite stories of all time, my heart is so fucking full after watching this.
- Fahrenheit 451 – Oh, look at that, they just ruined my favourite book.
- Shakespeare Retold: Much Ado About Nothing – I actually loved this so much that I watched it again and then bought the dvd whoops.
★★★★☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★★★★ ★★★★☆ ★★★☆☆ ★★★★☆ ★★★★☆
- Hobbs & Shaw – This was honestly so much fun! I love stupid humour and aesthetically pleasing violence so this movie was perfect for me.
- Casablanca – So, this was completely boring to me but I did enjoy getting to see where so many famous movie quotes came from!
- San Pietro – This was advertised as “real footage” when it came out in the 1940s but turns out it was just people acting on the battlefield which is really gross to me. So, this one gets a no from me.
- Hobbs & Shaw – So good I had to see it a second time. Jks my little brother wanted to see it so I went with him. 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Seriously though, if you liked Mission Impossible: Fallout you’ll probably enjoy this.
- Double Indemnity – Yeah, this really wasn’t for me but this quote really slaps: How could I have known that murder could sometimes smell like honeysuckle?
- Strike Season 1 – Okay, so this was actually so good??? If you didn’t like the books I still recommend that you try the show because it is actually a lot better and I feel like I preferred Strike in the show then in the books. 🤷♀️
- Doctor Who Season 1 – I cannot explain to you how much the first 4 seasons of Doctor Who mean to me, without crying so I’m not even going to try. Basically, I’m hoping to start season 2 soon and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to cope.

- Brother Bear – #1 soundtrack of all time I love this movie with my entire heart and soul.
- Lilo & Stitch – I was having probably one of the worst days of the year, and it’s been a BAD year health-wise, so I decided to just sit down and watch this because I knew it would make me feel better, and guess what, it worked!
- Falling Inn Love – Honestly the title and the New Zealand accents really saved this movie for me. 👌👌
This was fun to browse through! I love how many times you watched Aladdin. I was so impressed with it and have watched it a couple times myself! So so good!

I saw Toy Story 4 a couple of months ago and thought it was okay. It had its moments but I personally did not need it to exist.

Your comment on Jane Eyre – I couldn’t have summed it up any better 😛 What a great list of movies and shows though. I remember loving Lilo and Stitch when I was younger ❤ I should probably go back and re-watch sometime. Great post!

Jane Eyre… I am not a fan. I had to read and watch it for a class and I was less than impressed!
Lilo & Stitch is officially one of my favourite movies, I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before this year!
