Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update of how my reading has been going for the last couple of weeks, which is to say that it hasn’t, so I’m doing this in the hopes that talking about books I’m excited about will motivate me to actually pick up a book that isn’t for Uni.

The Great Gatsby
I’m just going to say it. I don’t like this book. This is definitely the best book I’ve got on my course list but, I’m really not digging it which is such a bummer because I really thought I would enjoy this as it’s such a popular book, in general!
As You Like It
I’ve read a few of Shakespeare’s plays in the past but I’ve never read As You Like It. Honestly, I wasn’t a big fan because I have no idea what really happened in it – I am hoping to gain some more clarity when we talk about it in class though!
You Must Not Miss
I have no idea what this book is about but I have a copy out of from the library and I also have the audiobook so I don’t really know how I should go about reading this one! BUT I know I’ve been waiting for a copy for months, so I am excited to finally pick this up!
I hope you will get back into reading! Adn enjoy your next read more!
I’m abnout to pick up REcord of a spaceborn few 🙂

Thank you! I’m hoping I’ll get my mojo back in time for the new year!

I didn’t like The Great Gatsby either. I feel like the writing is really dry and none of the characters are likeable. I love the setting though.
I’m currently reading A Conjuring of Light and it’s amazing! I have to stop myself several times because the tension is just THAT high!

I could enjoy Gatsby more than some of my other assigned readings but I didn’t love it tbh. The setting was very good!
Ooh, is that book 2 or 3? I still have to read book 1 but I am looking forward to it!
