Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with a short and quick blog post! I think we can all relate to having a million and one books on our tbr that naturally transfer over to our shopping carts, so today I’m showing you guys a few of the books that I have on my Wishlist!
The Mistborn Trilogy Boxed Set by Brandon Sanderson
I want to buy this boxed set so badly but I have to physically restrain myself from doing that every time I see it in the bookstore! I love this series and have been meaning to re-read it for literal years but I’m really weird about buying boxed sets and I don’t know why. I think I’m just going to have to splurge at the end of the year around the Xmas sales and just buy it because I know I’m definitely doing a re-read of the series next year and I’d also like to be able to continue the series too!
UPDATE: It was on sale on BookDepository so I decided to splurge because I love myself but not my bank account.
Giant Days Series
I am slowly collecting these volumes but so far I only have a few random ones that I’ve either preordered or found on sale at random points. I started reading this series earlier this year and binge-read all the available volumes pretty quickly so I know this will be a series I re-read in the future because of how much fun I have with the main trio and even the side characters!
[I intend to eventually buy volumesΒ 3,4,5,6,7,8 & I have preordered vol 11]
Nova Series
This is one of my favourite comic series of all time and I am slowly collecting all the volumes – I usually get one around Comic Book Day because of the sales. So, I’ll probably end up picking up the last two (vols 2 & 5) volumes next year during FCBD because Bookdepository doesn’t stock all the volumes.
Spider-Geddon Event
I read the Spider-Verse event a few years ago and it’s my favourite comic series of all time so when I found out this was happening I immediately added it to my tbr. The only thing is that because it’s a comic and a big omnibus I will probably have to ask for it for Christmas or use a gift voucher to buy it. It’ll definitely be worth it though because ya girl looooves the Spider-people.
The Backstagers
Okay, so I legit know nothing about this series other than that it sounds amazing and since my library doesn’t have any copies I’ll definitely be picking up a copy in the next year or two.
Jules Verne
I don’t know if you guys know this about me but I am obsessed with all of the Journey to the Centre of the Earth adaptations but I have never actually read the book, so this needs to happen asap.
Wild Beauty
Wild Beauty is one of my favourite books of all time but for some strange reason, I don’t own it??? It’s pretty expensive and not available in stores for me, so I’m hoping to nab it whenever BookDepository has another BIG sale because $27 is a looot to pay for a book (roughly $18 US).
I really want to splurge on the Mistborn series too. I haven’t read it, but since it seems like a complex high fantasy book, I really want to read it on physical copy. Plus, I love that edition!

Your line “I love myself but not my bank account” made me laugh! I spend most of my money on books so I totally understand! I remember really wanting that edition of the Mistborn series when I first read the original trilogy. At this point so much time has past that I no longer crave them, which is helpful for my wallet, I guess.
Also, I read The Backstagers back in January and can 100% recommend! There are also some books with illustrations that tie into the comic/graphic novels and I highly recommend those as well! It’s a wonderful series!
Also, that is one of the most beautiful editions of Journey to the Centre of the Earth that I’ve EVER seen! I’ve never been particularly tempted to read that book, but if I owned that edition, I can see it happening!
I hope you somehow end up receiving all these books soon, and without having to empty your wallet!

Haha, I’m glad! Yes, most of my money goes towards coffee and books and pretty much nothing else! I’m hoping to read most of his books from the library first so I can really pick and choose properly because as beautiful as it would look I don’t need an entire shelf full of Brandon Sanderson books! But, I know that I will re-read the Mistborn trilogy in the future so I was okay with buying it!
I’m so glad, I really want to read Backstagers but I’ve never seen it instore so I’ll have to wait for a big sale online!
I know, I love it! It’s the Vintage Classics edition but I also love the Puffin Classics edition too! Haha, I’m hoping that once I buy a nice edition I’ll want to read it too!
Haha, I’m probably going to end up putting them all on an Xmas wishlist and subtly slide it over to my mum in a few months! π

My hardcover copy of Wild Beauty is honestly the most beautiful thing in my house. I got it on special from Book Depository a while back (I think!?)

I want a hardcover copy so bad!! It’s one of my favourite books so I’m hoping to get a copy later this year or I’ll splurge and buy myself a copy for my birthday next year! I’ll probably get my copy from BookDepo too!
