Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with an update of how my reading has been going for the last couple of weeks, which is to say that it hasn’t, so I’m doing this in the hopes that talking about books I’m excited about will motivate me to actually pick up a book that isn’t for Uni.

Okay, so technically I haven’t started The Kiss Quotient yet but I do plan on picking it up tomorrow and hopefully finishing it throughout the rest of the week. I’m really excited about this one because I haven’t picked up a romance in at least a month which feels a bit like a crime at this point, so I’m hoping to dive back into this genre and never leave! Also, I believe that the main character is 30+ and also high-functioning autistic and I feel like those are two things we rarely see in romance or books in general. I’m pretty positive that the love interest is also biracial and apparently he’s completely adorable!
I just recently finished up City of Glass and surprisingly really enjoyed it so I’m excited to continue my Shadowhunters binge-read throughout the year. I don’t think I can get up to date with all of the books in this world by the end of the year but I’m going to try my darndest!
I want to read Red, White & Royal Blue so badly and I’m so mad that I haven’t yet! It sounds and looks amazing so I am crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to binge-read this on a weekend at some point before I’m bombarded by assessments at Uni!

I have been reading a bunch of Cassandra Clare’s books lately, so maybe! Which book are you up to?

The last book I read was The Clockwork Prince – but we’re reading them in the order recommended by Clare (http://cassandraclare.com/faq/what-order-should-i-read-the-shadowhunter-chronicles-in/) so I haven’t finished TMI yet.
