Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my on-screen wrap up of all the movies and shows I watched from January to April of this year! I did the same thing last year and really enjoyed it but found I didn’t enjoy just giving you guys my ratings, so this time I’ve included a sentence or two talking about how I felt about what I watched, so let me know if you like this new format and I’ll continue with it!

• Doctor Who: Resolution – So predictable, but I’m always *happy* to see a Dalek
• The Cat Returns – Wow, an actual movie about a chick with a cat kink. 2019 is truly smashing so far.
• The Three Musketeers – Revolutionary. Beautiful. Perfection. Where’s my sequel??? 👌👌👌
• Pokemon: I Choose You – Wow, I think I like Pokemon now?
• Shrek 2 – A literal masterpiece. When The Fairy Godmother sang I Need a Hero I think I reached a spiritual plane.
• The Holiday – A classic. Beautiful. I love it. 👏👏👏

• 🎬Aquaman –  I really enjoyed this one and I’m excited to watch it again once it’s out on DVD. Loved all the Ocean scenes and Arthur’s character development in the movie.
• The Switch –  I mean, this is just your run of the mill Jason Bateman Rom-Com, but what I love about this, and why I always come back to this movie, is the relationship between the main characters and the kid. More than a romance, this movie is about the parents understanding their kid and understanding how he thinks and what he needs, rather than what they want him to want, if that makes sense? Also, Jeff Goldblum’s in it, so that’s a plus!
• Saving Mr. Banks –  I’m really not sure how I felt about this movie. The acting was solid, and it was heartbreaking, of course. But, I’m really torn between never wanting to watch Mary Poppins again and not believing a single thing I just watched. Call me a pessimist, but I have trouble believing that a movie so heavily featuring Walt Disney, made by Disney is going to be 100% accurate/honest.
• Ocean’s 8 – Considering, for years I thought this series was about people in submarines this was a serious glow up.
• Fantasia – Not really my cup of tea but the music was good to have on in the background while I was writing blog posts.
• 🎬Mary Poppins Returns – Oh, boiiii. Visually amazing, the sound was pretty good but Mary Poppins has a stick up her a** and an ego to boot.

• You [Season 1] – I rarely binge watch tv but I could not stop watching this. I loved how Penn Badgley played Joe and it made me really happy to see Elizabeth Lail in something new! I don’t recommend this show if you’re super paranoid or attached to social media, but otherwise, it’s amazing!
• The Sorcerer’s Apprentice – This movie is a classic holy crap. Nicolas Cage was truly at his lowest and the soundtrack is laughable but oh well, it’s still so much fun to watch.
• Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle – I love this movie, I really do. It’s so much fun to watch and I love how it’s shot like a video game. The only thing that really annoyed me was Kevin Hart and how his and The Rock’s characters never resolved their issues.
• Frozen – I love this movie, yes, it’s overhyped but idc because I love it.
• Pitch Perfect – I really enjoyed the soundtrack but this movie was a whole-a** letdown.

• Jersey Boys: Brisbane Show – The acting was amazing, but honestly I didn’t know any of the music and I didn’t care for the show and never would have even thought about going except that my mum had a super cheap ticket to spare.
• 🎬Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – I loved this! It’s even better the second time around! You can check out my review here if you’re curious about my more in-depth thoughts!
• Once Upon A Time [Season 1] – I have watched this so many times and I always feel differently about it on each watch. I wasn’t as big a fan this time, I honestly forgot that so much of season 1 was a murder mystery ft. snow white’s love problems.
• How To Train Your Dragon – I love this movie, it never fails to make me completely happy.
• 🎬How To Train Your Dragon 3 – I’m still processing this movie, that’s all I’ll say until I see it again.
• The Grand Budapest Hotel – holy crap but also wtf

• Winter’s Tale – This movie was a mistake. A true contender for the worst movie of all time.
• John Wick 2 – This series is amazing and everyone needs to watch it at some point.
• The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh – It’s always such a depressing kind of joy to be in Pooh’s world.
• A Series of Unfortunate Events [Season 1] – Definitely didn’t enjoy this as much on my re-watch but, I do really like the Lemony Snicket bits with Kronk.
• 🎬Aquaman – I really enjoyed this one on my re-watch, though I felt a bit awkward in an almost empty cinema.

• The Lucky One – I was in the mood for a bad romance so I decided to re-watch this one. Re-watching it, I thought Zac Efron’s character was slightly creepy but maybe that’s just because I was watching it while I was half asleep.
• National Treasure – It’s always a pleasure to watch National Treasure.
• HP + The Philosopher’s Stone – This movie always fun to watch, except for the bit where we see the back of Quirrell’s head because EW.
• Inception – My family didn’t like this at all but I loved it so do what you want with that info, I guess.
• Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – I will forever love Kenneth Branagh’s portrayal of Lockhart, absolutely hilarious.
• Johnny English Strikes Again – This movie is also hilarious, please watch it.

• Creed – This was entirely Rebecca’s fault and I love her for it. I never would have been even tempted t watch this movie if not for her and I LOVED IT! Absolutely amazing characterisation and some of the shots in this film were BEAUTIFULLY done. Also, the relationship between Rock & Adonis was the best thing that happened to me all month, I love them.
• Letters to Juliet – I know this movie isn’t amazing but honestly, it’s so much fun to watch.
• What To Expect When You’re Expecting – I clicked on this at random while scrolling down Netflix and wow I got a good cry out of this one.
• Deadpool 2 – I forgot how funny and uncomfortable these movie were, yikes. Great soundtrack though.
• Isn’t It Romantic – I was actually pretty excited for this buy oh boy, did it disappoint.

• 🎬Captain Marvel – Okay, so I love Carol Danvers, please appreciate her.
• My Life in Ruins – The love interest is basically Greek Jason Mamoa so watch this is that interests you.
• Ant-Man and The Wasp – How can something be so weak yet so underrated?
• Fifty Shades of Grey – Why oh why did this have to be a trilogy? The ending was so good!
• Room – Welp, now I know why she got an Oscar. F*ck everyone who said this movie was terrible, it’s really really not.
• Fifty Shades Darker – Holy sh*t why am I doing this to myself? Trash, absolute trash.
• Fifty Shades Freed – Dobby is free!

• Lucifer [Season 1] – The Devil solving murders in LA? Yes, please.
• Fallen – Sometimes I make great decisions and sometimes I watch Fallen. I subjected my whole family to this movie and I regret everything now.
• 🎬Dumbo – Visually fantastic but don’t go into this thinking it’ll be a shot-by-shot remake of the original because it is quite different but still keeps the heart of the animated movie!

• Iron Man – A classic. 👌👌
• The Incredible Hulk – This movie gets such a bad rap, y’all are just mean.
• Think Like A Man – Honestly, this would be so much better without Kevin Hart.
• Cinderella – Everything about this movie is beautiful.
• 🎬Captain Marvel – So. Gay. 🌈 🌈 🌈
• 🎬Shazam – Genuinely, this was amazing. A great mix of dark and hilarious.
• Christopher Robin – This movie made me so unbelievably happy.

• The Court Jester – Absolutely hilarious.
• Hellboy – I can’t believe I’m typing this but I don’t think I liked this.
• Hellboy II – This duology was honestly so underwhelming, I’m kind of shocked right now.
• Corpse Bride – What did I just watch? Holy sh*t.
• Someone Great – Fun but I skipped most of it
• Venom – Make it gay, you cowards
• Lilo and Stitch – I have officially found a new favourite.

• 🎬Avengers: Endgame – Without a doubt, this was one of the best movies I’ve seen all year, maybe in the last couple of years. I’m so impressed, honestly.
• Lilo and Stitch – Honestly, I know I’ve only seen this twice. But, I love Stitch and would die for him.
• This Means War – I mean this was problematic af but 2012 me was thriving.
• Iron Man – I am Emotional!
• 🎬Dumbo – Not as good the second time around, interestingly enough.
• Iron Man 2 – This was not good, but pls watch it for Justin Hammer.
