Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with a kinda new series! Last year I did a Bookshelf Tour series which you guys seemed to really enjoy, and this year I wanted to also talk about movies and tv so I thought I would give you guys a tour of m my DVD shelves! Because I have A LOT of DVDs!

Today I’m talking about the series & boxed sets I have on my shelves!
FRIENDS
First up is Friends! Who doesn’t love Friends? It can be problematic but I think that can also be said for most shows of the same time period, which is in no way an excuse, just a fact.
Truth be told, I have only watched the first 6/10 seasons but I’d say that’s pretty good considering I haven’t watched much tv in the last year or two. I do really enjoy the characters, especially in the group dynamic so I will definitely get back to the series sometime probably towards the end of the year when I don’t have to worry about school and can just focus on blogging, tv and my job!
MERLIN
Oh boy, please tell me you’ve all watched this show because it is the actual LIGHT OF MY LIFE and it definitely consumed my life for a good 5 or so years back in the day. This show was EVERYTHING to me when I was younger and it without a doubt, is what kickstarted my intense love for anything Arthurian.
It’s a bit older now and it’s definitely not accurate to the original mythology/legend of King Arthur. It’s also a bit more of a modern/ accessible retelling of the story and I love it so much??? I just love my gay little babies SO. DAMN. MUCH.
SMALLVILLE
Why, yes I do own all 10 seasons of Smallville and no, I haven’t watched any of it. but like, I’m gonna! I swear! I have been meaning to watch this show for the last 5+ years and have been slowly collecting the seasons at second-hand stores. And, earlier this year I finally managed to find season 10 and now I have all the seasons so I can really dive into the show!
I’m not totally excited about seeing Superman in high school because I know that goes on for a couple of seasons but I know that once he gets to The Daily Planet and once Lois Lane is introduced because she is one of my absolute favourite characters in media! I’m really hoping to start this series towards the end of the year too!
DOCTOR WHO
Okay, so I only own the first 4 seasons of New Who but, I do plan on eventually getting all of Matt Smith’s run because I do really enjoy him as the Doctor and I don’t think I’ve seen absolutely every episode form his run, whereas, I know I’ve been through Eccleston & Tennant’s seasons with a fine-tooth comb.
But, so far I think there are 11 seasons of Doctor Who out in stores and I definitely only plan on buying seasons 5,6 & 7 but probably not past those. I really enjoy 9,10 and 11 as characters (sorry, so many numbers!) but I didn’t like 12 much and so stopped watching the show as a whole, except for a Christmas Special or two. I also didn’t like 13’s season enough to want to buy it.
LUCIFER
Lucifer is the only show at the moment that I am actively watching. I have started slowly rewatching the first season so I can finally catch up and watch season 3 in time to watch season 4 when it eventually comes out! I love this show and I can safely say that it’s one of my absolute favourites!
Lucifer is one of my favourite characters and the show just makes me so so happy? Like, I was literally so sad when the show got cancelled. I had Merlin flashbacks, it wasn’t pretty. That being said, the show did get picked up by Netflix and I’ve never been more excited about something related to Netflix in my life!
VERONICA MARS
And last but not least, the last up to date series I have on y shelves is Veronica Mars, also a big favourite of mine! I recommend all the shows in this post but, if you watch any of them please watch Lucifer and Veronica Mars they are SO. WORTH. IT! Also, Veronica Mars is coming back for a new season and I could not be happier about it! The cast has been trying to get this to happen for years and it’s finally happening! Honestly, I cannot believe this s real and that we finally get to know what’s happening to the characters after the movie (and outside the two books)!
Ngl, Kristen Bell can do no wrong in my eyes, I mean she plays two of my favourite characters, Anna & Veronica Mars? What a legend.
DO YOU BUY DVDS OR ARE YOU MORE DIGITALLY INCLINED?
WHAT SHOWS DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR SHELVES?
One of my friends got me hooked on Friends (haha) and it’s hilarious! What a timeless show.

Haha, it’s such a fun show! I stuns me sometimes that not everyone has seen it because it seems so universal!

OMG YES to Veronica Mars. I’ve been rewatching it to prep for the new season (I have no idea when it’s coming out or if we’ll even get it in Aus) and I dug out my copy of the movie and I’ve got the books ready to reread!!! SO KEEN FOR THIS!!
I also love Lucifer π

Veronica Mars is literally one of my favourite shows, hopefully, more people will start watching it with the new season! I have no idea if we’ll get it in Aus, but hopefully on Stan or something like that!
Lucifer is amazing too. Ahh I love them! π

Oh my god, I completely forgot about Foxtel, lol it wasn’t even on my radar. I’m honestly really hoping it’ll be on Stan because otherwise we’ll have to wait for the dvd!
