Hey guys, today I’m coming at you with a blog post some of you guys requested in the comments of my 10 Step Guide to Growing Your Blog, which I wrote a few weeks ago. Today I’m going through a quick how-to guide for adding social media icons at the bottom of a blog post!
The end of my blog posts usually look something like this ⬇ so that’s what I’m going to try and go through in this post!

I get all of my images from sites like Freepik and you can find the set I use for my social media icons here.
So, I use these images and cut and colour them however I prefer and then I add them to my Media Library in my WordPress account.

Aaand this is where it gets slightly more complicated…
Individually add your images to the bottom of your blog post

You should now be able to change their sizes and add links to the individual images
- Link each image to your social media and you should be finished!
Whenever, I need to add social medias to the end of my blog posts (Something I do at the end of every blog posts for easy access), to make it easier I will then go to my previously published blog post, copy the images and then paste them to whichever blog post I’m writing.
If this doesn’t work for you, and when you copy & paste the images, only one image ends up being pasted, try and have some words whited out and hover your mouse over the words when you copy the images like this:
That should make sure that you can copy and paste your icons at the bottom of your new blog post and not have to replace links or siizing – everything should stay the same.
But, now I have these words that I can’t get rid of! What do I do now?
I keep these words in every post so I can always copy & paste my social media icons for every post and to make it so you can’t see them unless you go looking in the finished & published post I just white out the text.
