Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m doing a quick blog post talking about how I try to avoid blogging stress. I’m not always successful but I thought this might help some of you, because I love reading advice posts like these because I find them really helpful, so maybe you will too!

You don’t have to make extremely long comments on people’s blog posts, or even when replying to comments on your own blog! Don’t force yourself to comment and blog hop, if you’re not in the mood then don’t do it.

  • On that point, you should try to comment on posts you’re actually interested in, don’t force the comments and don’t force yourself to read blog posts when you’re not in the mood!

While I recommend a blogging schedule, don’t go overboard with your schedule! Still, have one if that suits you, but don’t plan to write 4 or 5 posts a week if you know that’s not going to work for you. Think about your non-blogging life and then think about your blog, don’t let it take over your life. It’s not worth it.

  • That being said, if you implement a schedule then you should try writing posts ahead of schedule, it’s particularly helpful if you end up going on a hiatus and taking time off.

Don’t overcrowd your time – take time off and spend time outside of your blogosphere!

  • It’s always okay to take time off from your blog, it’s great for your mental health and also just to get a little break from the stresses blogging brings! So, take some time off, reduce your schedule & remember why you love blogging!

    1. Exactly! It’s so helpful, especially if you know you’re going to go through a busy period with school/work/life or you just want to take a few weeks off! It has saved me so many times!

  1. Your tips are so helpful. Scheduling posts helps so much. I try to spent every just five minutes a day working on a post, and that helps as well. Obviously I don’t write a complete post in five minutes. But even just getting a little big done helps a lot

That’s a great idea, every little bit helps! I think I’ll give that method a try and hopefully, it will benefit me as well!

  2. Great tips! Especially on comments. Sometimes it’s ok to have nothing to say. I love engaging on topics that spark debate, and also enjoy reading reviews but often find myself not having anything to add.
