MY 2018 WRAP UP! + LIFE UPDATE

discussions_2018feature

Hey guys! Today I’m coming at you with my little 2018 discussion post. This one is a bit more personal than the usual but I figure, it’s the end of the year so that’s okay. 2018 has been pretty rocky for me, I started Uni, made great friends on and offline, one of my two brothers graduated from primary school and my other brother was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. It’s been pretty hectic but I’ve also managed to achieve some pretty great things, I’ve even almost managed to reach 500 followers here on my blog (I’m at 499!)

MY FAVOURITE MOMENTS

I started Uni this year! Okay, so truthfully I’ve hated every second of it but hey, I actually managed to get the ball rolling and now I only have 2 1/3 years to go! I’ve decided I’ll be majoring in both literary studies and screen studies which luckily for me is two things I’m definitely interested in!

MY WORST MOMENTS

2018 has honestly been one of the worst years of my life so far as my family has been in an out of the hospital and my body has been at it’s lowest point physically. I’ve been sick in one way or another pretty much all year and my anxiety has definitely been at it’s worst, as well as my brother being diagnosed with his disease. It’s been pretty crazy.

MY BEST MOMENT

My best moment of 2018 was definitely making so many blogging friends. I’ve become really great friends with Rebecca, Malanie, Destiny and so many others this year!

  1. Sorry to hear this year wasn’t so great for you with all the hospital / family stuff.
I wish you the best and hope you’ll have a much better 2019 🙂

You read some really cool books. Sawkill Girls is on my list too and Perfect Mother sounds pretty much right up my alley as well 🙂

Sorry to hear that this year hasn’t been really great in terms of physical and metal health for you and your family, I hope 2019 will be a better year for you guys! ❤ However, you did have some amazing moments and read some amazing books 🙂 I'm really curious about Sawkill Girls, it sounds intriguing and the great reviews also help.

    1. Yes, we definitely need to talk more! We should do a buddy read sometime next year!

2018 was harsh on my family but I have higher hopes for 2019 especially now that we know what we’re dealing with. Haha, I hope that too! 😘😘

I’m really happy that we got closer and I consider you one of my best blogging friends 💕 Can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans we get into in 2019 😋

    1. Haha, me too! I don’t have high hopes for 2019 but I do have grand reading plans so hopefully, it’s better overall than 2018.

Yes, me too! You’re my bestie and 2019 is going to be a great year for us! I keep forgetting to show you my excel page for our buddy reads (yes, I made an excel page, it was 2 am and I’m weird).
