Hey guys! Today I’m coming at you with my 20th blog post for the month, so hopefully, you’re not too sick of me yet?? (Don’t worry I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming next month!)

I wasn’t tagged to do this but I saw Destiny do this recently on her blog and I really enjoyed it! I really like this idea because I think it will really help you guys get to know me as a reader and as a blogger, hopefully, you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it!

RECEIVED AN ARC AND NOT REVIEWED IT ✅

I feel like at one point everyone has gone to publishers or joined Netgalley, gotten overwhelmed and then requested a bunch of books and because of that, we have a few arcs we have avoided reading and reviewing.

I definitely still have a couple of physical review copies on my shelves that I haven’t gotten to yet!

Who hasn’t done this? I feel like sometimes we get excited or angry when we finish a book and then we write ‘rtc’ on our Goodreads review and then we forget about it. Unless I schedule a review on my blog I can guarantee that a review will not get written.

FOLDED DOWN THE PAGE OF A BOOK ✅

I’m kind of infamous for doing this in my family! I mostly fold down the pages in my library books but that’s just because I don’t remember the last time I read a book that I owned. That being said, it’s a rare occurrence and I usually use a bookmark!

ACCIDENTALLY SPILLED ON A BOOK ❌

Nope! I have seen too many gross things in my library books for me to ever spill something in a book!

DNF’D A BOOK THIS YEAR ✅

Yes, OF COURSE! I DNF books all the time! Luckily, I have read a lot of really good books this year so I haven’t dnf’d many at all!

BOUGHT A BOOK PURELY BECAUSE IT WAS PRETTY, WITH NO INTENTION OF READING IT ✅

I mean, probably. I can’t name any right now off the top of my head but I’m sure there are one or two that I’ve purchased over the years with the influence of other bloggers and booktube & of course the pretty cover! Sometimes just having extra content & deckled edges will pull me over to the dark side!

READ WHILST YOU WERE MEANT TO BE DOING SOMETHING ELSE (LIKE HOMEWORK) ✅

uhh yess. I am notorious for barely reading anything throughout the year, but as soon as assessment time hits suddenly I’m reading 4 books a week. Honestly, procrastination can really change a person, it’s a dangerous game.

SKIM READ A BOOK ✅

Yes, but I can only think of the one book I had to read for school. Something about a carpet and a war? Honestly, I don’t remember anything other than that I hated every second of it.

COMPLETELY MISSED YOUR GOODREADS GOAL ❌

I’ve only done it for the last 5 years but so far I’ve managed to complete all of them! Hopefully, I haven’t jinxed myself!

BORROWED A BOOK AND NOT RETURNED IT ✅

I think I lost a book once and had to pay a fine but other than that no, it was a long time ago and I try to take good care of my books now!

BROKE A BOOK BUYING BAN ❌

I don’t do buying bans but I have certainly calmed down with buying books this year (and instead have put all my money into buying dvds at secondhand shops whoops…)

Haha, no! My reviews are so few on my blog that if I have to write one I will get it done pretty much as soon as I finish reading the book or watching the movie or show!

BROKE THE SPINE OF SOMEONE ELSE’S BOOK ❌

Uhh no. Unless you’re counting library books but usually the spines are smashed before I get the book in my hands anyway.

TOOK THE DUST JACKET OFF TO PROTECT IT AND ENDED UP MAKING IT MORE DAMAGED ❌

No! Honestly, I don’t own enough hardbacks for that to be an issue, and I avoid taking them outside anyway because they’re too clunky!

SAT ON A BOOK ACCIDENTALLY ✅

Some of these I’m totally okay with and some of these I feel kind of bad about like, why can’t I suck it up and let others read my books? But, at the same time most of the prompts I said no to I’m totally okay with!

I guess I’m both a naughty and a nice reader! 😈
