Hey Guys! Today I’m coming at you with all the movies and tv shows I watched in July, August & September! I got most of these out from the library or I already owned them but during this quarter of the year I also saw a whole bunch of new release movies at the cinema because I ended up levelling up to a VIP at my local cinema and because of that I get my movie tickets a whole lot cheaper.
So, I don’t want you guys to think that I’m mega rich or that I don’t know how privileged I am to be able to see all these films. I know that I watch a lot of movies and I’m okay with that, but at the same time I only really spend my money on food at Uni or movie tickets these days, since my reading life has gone out the window!

okay honestly…Mamma Mia 2 is one of my all time favorite movies and i can’t explain why i love it so much (i do not even like the first Mamma Mia) but i WILL say i am glad you gave it a pretty solid rating.

Oh my God, Emma, I saw it way back in July and I literally haven’t stopped listening to the soundtrack, it’s like wine – it only gets better with time! I wasn’t sure how I felt about it while I was watching it (I was a big fan of the first film lol) but I thought it was really fun and Lily James is a literal god to me so who cares about the meh bits?
I loved Cher and I’m so glad she’s making an Abba album, I know I’m going to obsess over it already! I also really loved Andy Garcia’s character and how ridiculously dramatic he was. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life???
I also found it pretty funny how some of the cast just forgot how to sing?? *coughs* Dominic Cooper. Like, I get it, it’s been 10 years.
But honestly, I really enjoyed this movie because of the new cast and Colin Firth & Stellan Skarsgård doing Titanic while everyone sings Dancing Queen??? Perfection. 👌👌👌
Also, shout out to Tanya for being 100% iconic af. ” Be still my beating vagina”. THIS will be written on my grave, I swear. What a legend.

oh my god i 100% agree with ALL OF THIS. lily james was amazing, and, okay, this is so petty and trivial, but like…i doooo feel that there are countless films made with countless classically good looking women in hollywood, which is all well and good for heterosexual men except there’s no parallel for anyone attracted to men??? anyway. this is all to say there is some serious eye candy in this movie and i was A Fan. i’m in love with jeremy irvine and i’m not sorry!!!
i CRY LAUGHING every time i watch the fernando scene. it is just so goofy! the whole film is just such a delight. do you have a favorite song off the soundtrack??

Haha, I have to be honest the prequel rendition of Waterloo kind of ruined the song for me. It used to be my favourite but… now I hate it because that dude is whiny af.

Haha, I loved all the prequel boys too, I think Bill was my favourite which I found interesting because Harry is my favourite of the older guys!
I just really didn’t like his take on the song in that scene so it really turned me off it though I really enjoy it in the after credits in the first movie!
Do you think they’ll make a third film? Tbh I’m not sure if they will but also I would totally go see it if they made one!

i don’t think they’ll make a third one but i honestly pray every day that they will. there are so many things they could still explore! cher’s back story, sophie’s childhood, etc etc. and god i’d love more of lily james in that role
my sister is Obsessed w bill! i am a sam girl myself but that is in spite of the fact that he is a pretty bad person in the movies. i just love him anyway. but bill is a real charmer

Haha, I just like prequel Bill because Sam is shitty and Harry is whiny so Bill is the happy medium. I do like all the og dads though!
