Hey guys! Today I’m coming at you with another book unhaul on my blog! This the second part in my 2018 unhaul series and it’s honestly so freeing just writing the intro for this post!
You can find my first unhaul of 2018 here
I was gifted these books or bought them a few years ago. Some of these I have read or do not plan on reading so they will either be getting sold on my Depop [LINK] or I will be giving them away at Book Swaps so others can read them.
So let’s get started!

oh boy i love these posts even as some of your choices BREAK MY HEART. i love coraline and it’s v short (and also autumn-y…although it’s not autumn for you is it?). daughter of the burning city and we were liars were both just okay. & crowns of croswald has been sitting on my shelves foreverrrr but the author sent it to me in a very nice promotional package so i’ll prob just have to force myself to read it eventually. great post keep doing these yay!

I did read Coraline, but I’m not a big fan of Neil Gaiman’s books so I’ll probably end up passing Coraline onto my brother, hopefully he’ll enjoy it more than me!
Honestly, Crowns of Croswald has been siting on my shelves for years because it’s signed and I won it but I will probably never read it.
Thank you I think I’ve got one more unhaul out of my shelves before xmas!

Good on you! I don’t have the will power or the strength to unhaul books. I always think “but what if I want to read them again?” – even if I hated them! haha I’m hopeless. π

Haha, I was thinking that while I was doing it but I had to finally get real with myself and admit that I probably won’t read them!

I really need to take a page out of your book. I have literally every single book I’ve ever owned. Even my Rainbow Magic and High School Musical books πππ I mean they’re sitting in a box in the garage but I probably should just donate them already. I have a problem haha

Haha, I can totally relate to that, I have certainly kept a few of my old favourite picture books but I do take them out and flick through them sometimes so I’ve kept them.
I think you just need to get into the mood for an unhaul and let go of the feeling that you need to own every single book you’ve read, unless that’s what you’re really into – which is totally fine, of course!

It’s nice to reminisce in the nostalgia and feel all the feels every now and then. Especially those books that got us into reading initially!

I looove Coraline, I have the graphic novel and I think it’s so much better than the novel and movie. I have read The Cuckoo’s Calling, I guess it was an okay book but I’m not in a rush to read the next book π

I read the book and saw the film and I wasn’t too fussed on it tbh, but the graphic novel sounds interesting so I might pick it up if I see it at the library sometime!
I’ve read the Cuckoo’s Calling but I think I prefer the audibooks so I don’t really need physical copies taking up so much space on my shelves!

I have not read any of these so unfortunately I cannot give my opinion on whether or not you should keep them. lol.
Great post!

You’re braver than me, unhauling books like this! I struggle to even get rid of ones I didn’t like – I’m running out of shelf space now because of it. You’re inspiring me to be brave and do a purge, it seems quite freeing!

Haha, I jave been much more interested in owning favourites lately, so I’ve been more focused on keeping a happy space on my shelves. I decided to unhaul just because I don’t have the space and I’m more interested in making my shelves a less anxious space for me, which it hasn’t been recently because I haven’t really been wanting to go near them lately which makes me kinda sad.
Purging your selves can definitely be such a freeing experience, I hope it works out for you, even if you just get rid of 1 or 2!
Good luck!

Thanks, I think Iβll definitely give it a go! Looking at my shelves has been making me a bit stressed lately, so maybe itβs time to cut down on that.
