Hey guys! Today I’m coming at you with a fun book tag that’s been going around lately. I was tagged by the ever beautiful Elizabeth @ RegalMusings, she’s a wonderful blogger and if you’re not following her you definitely should be!
Two of my favourite bloggers, Elizabeth & Malanie created this tag and I absolutely love it (and them, duh) so you guys should definitely do this tag too! It’s so much fun and spreading the blogger love is a wonderful thing to do!
- Link back to Malanie Loves Fiction + Redgal Musings
- Pick your favourite book blog for each category
- Share 1-2 books that remind you of each blogger
- Tag others!
BLOGGER WHO YOU SUPER DUPER ADMIRE + BOOK THAT REMINDS OF YOU THEM
I somehow only discovered Lily in the last month(ish) and that honestly seems crazy to me because her blog is absolutely beautiful. I love her posts and the gorgeous layout of her blog, it never fails to make me jealous!
Because I’m so new to her blog picking a book is a bit harder but, I think I’ll go with Emma. I recently read Lily’s top 5 favourite books post and she talked about how much she loved this one and she actually convinced me to pick this one up soon!
Emma – Jane Austen
BLOGGER WHO ENCOURAGES YOU TO KEEP BLOGGING + BOOK THAT REMINDS OF YOU THEM
Destiny! This post is full of bloggers I love and admire but Destiny is absolutely one of the most inspirational bloggers for me! She is actually the reason I started writing reviews again on my blog and definitely a big part of the reason I have kept blogging. No pressure, but I love you, girl!
This is also a pretty recent one, but Destiny recently posted a review of City of Ghosts and convinced me to pick it up too! It was my first book by this author and I’m so glad I decided to go with Destiny’s recommendation and picked it up! It was such a fun read!
City of Ghosts – Victoria Schwab
BLOGGER WHO ALWAYS MAKES YOU LAUGH + BOOK THAT REMINDS YOU OF THEM
Emma is the queen of blogging humour and whenever she posts she absolutely makes my day. Emma’s blog is straight up fantastic anyway, but her blog posts always make me smile, no matter what she’s talking about! Emma did a post a while ago, talking about some of her favourite books and she gushed so much about Jane Eyre that I immediately went and picked it up. Technically I still haven’t finished it (I binged it for a bit and then straight up stopped and never picked it up) but I was really enjoying it and I can see the book becoming a solid 4 stars for me whenever I finish it.
Jane Eyre – Charlotte Brontë
BLOGGER WHO CONSTANTLY RECOMMENDS THE BEST READS + BOOK THAT REMINDS OF YOU THEM
Chelsea is always writing great reviews and really helpful recommendation posts on her blog. I’ve followed her for years and when I was first starting out she was a big inspiration for me!
Chelsea loves Upside and is always gushing about it, so Upside is always the first book I think of when I think of her!
The Upside of Unrequited – Becky Albertalli
YOUR DOPPELGANGER BLOGGER (SIMILAR STYLE, READING TASTE, BASICALLY YOUR BLOGGING TWIN) + BOOK THAT REMINDS OF YOU THEM
Rebecca ofc! Emma is one of my best blogging friends and I love her with my whole heart! I want to say that she reminds me of Emma Mills books because Rebecca LOVES her books, but I feel like we talk about STaking Jack The Ripper more often and we’re planning on buddy reading book 3 as soon as our copies arrive so I’m going with that series.
Rebecca is my favourite and whenever I see her blog pop up on my Feedly/Reader my mood immediately lifts and she just makes me so happy okay???
Stalking Jack The Ripper – Kerri Maniscalco
I tag every blogger I recommended above +
Emma @ Reading Through The Night // Tiana @ The Book Raven // Carolina @ Fictionologyst // Emma @ Corn Reviews Books // Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight // Eliza @ DuskAngelReads // Lexie @ ReadingByStarlight // Ally @ AllyWritesThings // Deanna @ DeeReadsThings
Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so amazing and it makes me so happy plus you talked about my love for Emma Mills and our shared love of Stalking Jack the Ripper. I’M JUST SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW ❤ ❤ ❤
