STALKING JACK THE RIPPER + HUNTING PRINCE DRACULA AESTHETICS

Stalking Jack The RIpper Post Header.jpg

Hey guys! Today I’m continuing my obsession with Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco and also going out of my comfort zone for a bit of a change! I decided I would change things up a bit for this instalment in my series and today I tried my hand at making aesthetic boards??? Is that what they’re called???

I have never made these aesthetic mood board thingos before so this was a whole new world for me. I wasn’t quite sure how to make them but I think I figured it out in the end??

  • To make these I used my laptop, good ol’ Pinterest and Spark Adobe.
  • You can find the Pinterest board I developed making these here.

I wasn’t really sure what I was doing but I didn’t really want to listen to my history lecture at the time, so I decided to stalk (haha, I’m a comedian) Pinterest. I searched for Stalking Jack The Ripper, Blood aesthetic, Audrey Rose Wadsworth & Thomas Cresswell.

I had a lot of fun creating this. I don’t think it’s perfect but I think it was worth it for the experience alone. Who knew this was so much fun??? (literally everyone but me)

I’m definitely a lot happier with my Hunting Prince Dracula layout. For this one, I went with a darker tone because the book itself is a lot darker. I also used black and red as the base colours (with grey as a background). I tried to use what I thought summed up the book the most (no spoilers) while also trying to make it look cool. And I think I succeeded? Honestly, I really love this one.

  2. This is such a creative post! I love it! I actually just finished reading and reviewing Stalking Jack the Ripper and I absolutely loved it! I honestly think your aesthetic board is a great representation of the novel! I have still yet to read the rest of the series. Do you recommend reading the other books?

    1. Thank you, I had a lot of fun making this and plan on doing the same thing for books 3 and 4!
I definitely recommend the rest of the series – book 2 was one of my favourite reads from last year!
