RECOMMENDING BOOKTUBERS WHO CAN RECOMMEND YOU QUEER BOOKS

Hey guys! Today I’m coming at you with a fun pride post! This month my blog has been sorely lacking in Pride posts, so I’m hoping this post should be moderately helpful to you guys! Toda I’m hoping to recommend queer booktubers, this way they can give you more ownvoices recommendations and reviews than I can if you get my thinking???

*PS: I won’t go into the booktubers’ sexualities when I talk about them.

CECE @ PROBLEMSOFABOOKNERD

First up is Cece and she is one of my absolute favourites! She always recommends the best queer books and I absolutely love her. At the beginning of each year, she makes a video with a list of which LGBTQIA+ books she’s interested in for the year and it honestly makes my tbr double in size each year but I don’t even care. Honestly, if it wasn’t for here I wouldn’t even know about half of these books.

GEORGE LESTER

George is a true gem. He’s a drama buff and a true book nerd. He is also currently doing the Pride Month Reading Challenge which I’m loving! George recommends some amazing and less “known” or “hyped” books so hopefully you’ll find some hidden gems on his channel!

MOLLY @ MAGICAL MOLLY

Molly is out and proud and not afraid to tell you of her experiences. She is constantly recommending new books and constantly expanding my tbr. I really love the way she talks about books so I hope she convinces you guys to pick up some new and amazing books too!

ADRIANA @ PERPETUALPAGES

Adriana is amazing. I love her and her channel and she deserves a much bigger following! Adriana recommends some amazing queer books and has a really fun channel. She also always CCs her videos which may not mean much to some of you guys, but it means the world to me!

NICOLE @ WOOLFSWHISTLE

I love this woman, she truly brings me so much joy (also look at her hair, she’s just so damn cute). Nicole has more discussions on her channel than anything else, but I really love them. She doesn’t shy away from a topic and I really appreciate that. One of my recent favourites of hers is Why New Adult Books Are Still Not Good Enough? Her discussions and other videos are always really well thought out so you should check out her other videos.

ASHLEY @ TEALEAVESANDBOOKBINDINGS

I love me a woman who loves cats. I don’t have anything against them myself, but I am pretty badly allergic so unfortunately, I try to avoid them at any cost. Anywayyyy, Ashley is great. She does loads of reviews and also does a bunch of vlogs. She is currently doing Pride vlogs and I’m really enjoying them!
