COMIC ROUNDUP 3.0 // Giant Days + Devil Dinosaurs???

I’m bringing my Comic Roundup feature back *cheers by myself* I really like to talk about comics on my blog but I rarely do unless I have a specific post related to comics, much like this series. So, I figured since I know that some of you guys do enjoy comics and that you appreciate recommendations I might bring this post back. 

I don’t know if I’ll bring this back officially because no one ever really used to read the previous instalments, but I really just felt like talking about comics today so here we are I guess.

GIANT DAYS VOL 1

★★★☆☆

So, I have conflicting feelings about this one! It took me two days to get through and on each day, I reacted differently.

Day one: I got half way through and was feeling pretty meh. Even though, this is a visual story (comic) I was still having trouble differentiating the characters and getting into the story.

Day two: I really enjoyed it. I was laugjing while I read it and having more fun as I read it. Still having the same problem with the characters though.

Interestingly enough, and I’ll talk about this more in my review, I have the same problem with the novelisation of this series (Coming out in August). I will definitely be trying out Vol 2 bcause I want to see why everyone raves about this series, but I won’t be going in with high hopes.

MOON GIRL & DEVIL DINOSAUR VOL 1

I loved this and I am so glad I read it! This is a wonderful comic series about a beautiful scientist protag and her beautiful devil dinosaur bff kicking ass and taking names. I really loved this because it focuses on Lunella, a nine year old genius girl, and it really goes into how it’s completely okay to be smart and how adults don’t always know or understand everything, and kids have brains too! Also, there’s a dinosaur and I love him and I’m pretty sure I would kill for him #noragrets

MOON GIRL & DEVIL DINOSAUR VOL 2

I love this so much holy hell. My actual rating is a 4.5/5 but, I absolutely loved this one! These comics are so much fun and really quick reads for me. I actually managed to read the whole things while I waited for a batch of cookies to bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Lunella is a brilliant mc and you guys, I just love dinosaurs so so much.

If you enjoy a really fun and intelligent mc with a beautiful and very red side-kick (who also happens to be a dinosaur) then this is the comic series for you! I honestly wish I had volume 3 with me, but unfortunately, my library doesn’t understand the importance of me being happy. Should I bribe the library staff? Is it wrong to bribe library staff?
