Hey guys, today I’m coming at you with the top 5 books I’d like to read this season! I’m not much of a seasonal reader, but, I am already freezing my touche off, so I tried to pick “warmer” reads that I figured would make me happy.Β

LEGENDARY
I will admit that we are only 2 days into Winter when I am writing this and I’m already listening to the audio. I haven’t had the time to go to the bookstore lately so, I caved and bought the audiobook. So far, I think it’s really interesting and I’ve been having a really fun time listening to it!
THREE DARK CROWNS
I am roughly 5 pages into this and so far I am mostly confused. There are soo many characters already and I’m hoping it starts to make sense soon. I don’t know if this is going to be my kind of book, but I am willing to give it a great shot!
THE SONG OF ACHILLES
I am planning on reading this as part of the Marvel-A-Thon as my Thor pick and I’m super excited to get to it! I have never heard a bad thing about this book and it’s been a while since I got a good cry in from a book so I think this book is well in order! I’m really excited about this one and can’t wait to get to it!
THE FINAL EMPIRE
I’d love to re-read the whole trilogy but I don’t know how unrealistic that is, so I would at least like to re-read book one. I love this trilogy and think Brandon Sanderson creates really amazing worlds so I’m super excited to finally re-read these books!
THE MERMAID
If you know anything about me, you know that I loved Christina Henry’s Lost Boy so of course, I am excited about her newest book! I will admit that I’ve never actually seen The Little Mermaid, but I am really intrigued to see if this is anything like that with a sort of crossover with The Greatest Showman. I honestly have no idea what this is about, other than that it’s written by Christina Henry.
Have you read Christina’s other work? I absolutely love her Alice retellings.

I’ve read her Lost Boy & Alice retellings. I loved Alice but I don’t know if I’d be able to stomach book2 tbh. I haven’t read any of her other books, but I think her retellings are ingenious.

I definitely need to read Legendary soon! As for Three Dark Crowns, it will take some getting into which tbh doesnβt happen until the end of the book.

I read it at the beginning of the month and It was so good!
I also ended up reading Three Dark Crowns a few days ago and I agree that nothing much happens. It was pretty slow but I did enjoy the last third, so I think I’ll pick up book 2 soon.

Three Dark Crowns is amazing! Katharine is my favorite Queen and the Poisoner world is my favorite.

I finished Three Dark Crowns a few days ago and really enjoyed it! I think the poisoner world is really interesting! It’s so cruel and disturbing!

I think that’s why I liked it! I’ve always been into poisons and things like that so this world really piqued my interest.
