Hey guys today I am coming at you with a new post inspired by my new urge to re-read some of the books I read almost 5 years ago that I suddenly NEED to re-read!
Do you guys re-read books or do you enjoy them and move on?

TWILIGHT
I have an urge, an urge to read Twilight. God knows why, but I have been slightly obsessed with the idea of reading Twilight lately, I even watched the movie, that’s how nuts I’ve been feeling lately. I’m hoping to buddy read this with Destiny and some other readers sometime in July. I have never read this with anyone else, and I haven’t read the book in years so I am excited to see what I think of it now, something like 5 years later.
CRESS & WINTER
I loved this series when I read it in High School, I pretty much read Cress in one day when I read it the first time so I know that I enjoyed it when I read it the first time. I also know that I thought Winter was a fantastic finale so I am interested to see if I would feel the same way now that I have finished so many other series. I loved these but I re-read Cinder sometime last year and wasn’t loving it and I really don’t like Scarlet so I think I’ll skip to Cress & Winter for my re-read.
GONE GIRL
Gone Girl is such a good book and I really loved it when I read it back in either 2014 or 2015. It’s such a mindf*ck, that I think most people dnf it out of frustration. But, I love it so please pick it up?
THE GOLDEN DOOR
This is one of my absolute favourite books. I don’t know if I will still be reading it when I’m 50, because like, it’s a middle-grade book and at some point, I’m sure I will want to stop reading fantasy books written for a target audience of 10 year olds. Who knows, maybe I’m wrong? Hopefully, I’m wrong.
THE FINAL EMPIRE
I love this trilogy, it is what made me realise I love high fantasy. I have been meaning to pick this trilogy back up (and continue to book 4) pretty much ever since I finished book 3 back in 2016. Sanderson creates really amazing and thought out worlds so I am planning on diving back into his books soon enough. Hopefully, I will re-read The Final Empire in either June or July because I’m pretty sure my family has a road trip planned around that time.
Ahhh! I love the Lunar Chronicles so much.

Love these books 🙌🏻 I’ve been thinking about doing an entire month of rereads because it’s been a hot second since I’ve read any of my old favorites like The Selection or Harry Potter!!

I think I’m going to reserve July for rereads, so I’ll hopefully be able to share a little bit in this space!!

Ahh, I think I’m going to re-read TLC soon, I’m getting myself super hyped! I have been trying to convince myself to re-read Gone Girl for years but I just haven’t gotten round to it – I keep thinking “But what if I don’t like it??” I haven’t read it in years and my preferences have changed so much since then!

I’m a HUGE fan of rereading books, so I have my own little list of old favorites that I would really love to reread! 🙂 On the top of that list is Poison Study, because it has been soo long since I read it & I also never contiuned with the Series afterwards.

I have never read Poison Study but I’ve heard it’s amazing, I hope you enjoy your re-read! I think there’s a bunch of re-reading readathons so maybe you could try one of those??

i want to reread cinder & scarlet because i wasn’t in love with it the first time and just want to know whether i should continue with the series or just let it go.

I am re-reading it too. I just started HP5 yesterday and so far I am loving it. I’m trying to read a book a month! I re-read Cinder last year and didn’t care for it but I think I will try to re-read Scarlet soon because I hated it last time I read it! I do think that Cress and Winter are better than the first though, so you should try and continue!

oh, sanderson is actually one of my favourite authors in general at this point. i read the final empire trilogy for the first time back in 2009 & just re-read it recently (by which i mean like….. last year i think???). it’s even better on the second read somehow, if that’s possible? definitely would recommend coming back to it!

AH be careful rereading. I just did a post on how I reread Uglies and pretty much hated it by the end….
But HUGE SHOUT OUT TO EMILY RODDA! I slowly collected and then reread the Deltora Quest series last year and loved it so so much. So good.

Yes, Emily Rodda is amazing. Have you read the Doors trilogy??

Haha it clearly wasn’t fantastic 😅
I haven’t! I read Deltora and Emily of Rodda because that’s what my school had. Will have to add to my MG list!
