There were a lot of books I could’ve added to this list but I wanted to keep it positive and focus on the books that I’m pretty sure I’m going to read and not the books I highly doubt I’ll ever get to (*coughs* Six of Crows).

LEAH ON THE OFFBEAT
Originally I wasn’t going to read this purely because I really didn’t like Leah in Simon VS, but since then I have heard so many fantastic reviews of Leah on The Offbeat, so I figured why not? I love Becky Albertalli’s writing and I’m hoping reading about Leah from her own pov will help me actually properly relate to her since I won’t be reading about her from the pov of a teenage boy.
THREE DARK CROWNS
When did this book come out? 500 BC?
Yeah, guys, I don’t know why I haven’t read this yet. What do I love in books? Badass women. What is this book about? Badass women. Why haven’t I read this? Honestly, probably because high school was kicking my ass in my senior years but, also I’ve graduated now so really, what’s my excuse???
FINAL GIRLS
I literally saw this at the library the other day but had to use some restraint and be an adult and not pick it up because my library stack is already wayy too big. I am hoping to get to this by the end of the year but honestly who the hell knows what I’ll be doing by then. Probably procrastinating. Who’s shocked?
PEOPLE LIKE US
I am planning to read this asap (aka. this month) because I feel like I really haven’t been reading many mystery thrillers lately and I NEED TO FIX THIS GUYS! This book sounds fantastic and I am also trying to read at least one 2018 release every month (so far I have read 6!) so I am hoping this will be my new release for May!
THE SONG OF ACHILLES
I am so mad that I haven’t read this yet. Someone, please yell at me because yelling at myself isn’t working. I really really want to read Circe but I refuse to read Madeline Miller’s books out of publication order because that just the brand of weird that I subscribe to I guess? So, this book needs to happen asap.
I wanna read Leah on the offbeat also . Great post β£

I have high hopes for it. Hopefully, we both enjoy it!

I don’t even know how long I’ve had Six of Crows on my TBR
I want to read Song of Achilles, and Three Dark Crowns too! I’m still undecided about Leah on the Offbeat since this would be my first time reading the author’s work.
Regarding Final Girls, I didn’t like it so much. It was a bit of a let down for me.

Haha, I had it on my Goodreads tbr shelf for what felt like years (and probably was) but I know that realistically I will never read it. I am really excited to read The Song of Achilles, it sounds fantastic. Three Dark Crowns also sounds brilliant, hopefully we both love it!
I loved Simon Vs so I am excited for Leah, but I know there is also a few problematic scenes in the book so I’m going in extra cautious.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that! I might try looking for an audio version in that case.

Oh, that’s horrible! I’ve seen a few bisexual #ownvoices reviews and I know there is a very problematic scene in the book so I m going in extremely cautious. Hopefully, I like Leah…
Haha, I feel the same way about TSOA. I have no idea what’s holding me back!

Iβve read a lot about that scene.. it is problematic but somehow, I could totally see Leah as a character saying those things…
I really hope you like Leah more than I did and have great fun reading it ππ
I definitely want to start TSOA this month… weβll see what happens!!!

I just finished Leah on the Offbeat and I think I’m settling on a 4 or 4.5 rating. That being said, it was a super quick read and I literally flew through it. Probably cause I’m #trash for Becky Albertalli too π

Definitely read the SoA soon. It’s one of my favourite books ever β€ If you ever did want to read Circe first then you can do so as the books don't necessarily have anything to do with each other, but it does create a nice narrative if you read SoA first as the events pre-date Circe and one of the characters later turns up in the book.

Everyone has been telling me to read it so I will try to get to it asap! I’m glad to hear you enjoy it so much, that just makes me even more excited to pick it up!
Ahh, thank you so much for telling me! I think I still want to read TSOA first but I am hoping to read Circe really soon, or at least by the end of the year!

I still need to read People Like Us and Three Dark Crowns as well! I have read Final Girls and Song of Achilles though and I thought the first was enjoyable enough, I liked the ending twist! Song of Achilles is all around fantastic as well I thought it was worth all the hype people give it. Hope you enjoy all of these when you get the chance! π

I actually just binge-read People Like Us and I loved it. I started it in the morning and just never put it down! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did!
Oh, that’s great! It’s always o reassuring to know that a book is worth the hype!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy People Like Us and Three Dark Crowns as well! Happy reading! β€οΈ

Oh I hope you get to Song of Achilles and Circe soon! They absolutely do not need to be read in publication order to understand them, if that helps – but they’re both so wonderfully crafted and well worth the time to read. Song of Achilles is really beautiful, and Circe had so many wonderful and atmospheric scenes. They’l both stick with me for a long time.

I really hope I do too! I am so excited to read them and learn about some different mythologies! Thank you for letting me know!

Ahh you need to get to TSOA asap! In my opinion, it’s better than Circe π Also, I never see that edition of TSOA, it’s soo good!

I know! Everyone keeps telling me how good it is and now I’m even more excited to get to it! I believe it’s the Bloomsbury Modern Classics edition and you should be able to get your local bookstore to order it in for you or you should be able to find it on Bookdepository!

I’ve been wanting to read People Like Us for such a long time now as well, Three Dark Crowns was a disappointment to me, though. The Song of Achilles is really good! I hope you love it, when you get around to reading it. β€

I just read it a few days ago and I really enjoyed it – it was a really fun mystery if fun is the right word for it? I’m so sorry Three Dark Crowns didn’t live up to the hype – what but it was disappointing? I just put TSOA on hold at the library, I’m really excited to read it!

I don’t even want to know how long Three Dark Crowns has been on my owned TBR at this point.. Some day.. As for People Like Us – got myself a copy, haven’t read it yet. Because life of a bookworm, right? :’)

I haven’t read any of these books yet but I also want/need to read 3 out of 5 of these!! Leah is on top of my list because I’ve loved Simon too much and my friend has been pushing me to read The Song of Achilles since forever but I still haven’t picked it up yet. So many books, so little time! I could totally relate to the Six of Crows, that book has been chillin’ on my shelf for years lol.
